Hi !

I am a newbie as well...but I had to write to you b/c I am having my wedding at Beach Palace on May 27th and I am also doing a sapphire wedding!

How many guests are you planning on having?

Are you planning on having a private function?

Have you been to Beach Palace?  I have not...scary kind of.

Write me back I'm excited to hear about your wedding...6 days before mine!

Hoping to get married at the Beach Palace (the fiance and I just got back from a 7-night vacation there!).

Have a million questions and getting serious palpitations just thinking about planning... Any tips on where to begin?!?!

HI GMac! How did you like the resort while you were there? Did you visit the other Palace resorts? I havent been to any of them, so I am kinda just going on faith and all the other positive reviews. I'm getting married there in July 2011 and most likely will have a small # of attendees... about 20 I'm thinking... everyone said @ the beginning they were going to go, but as it gets closer I'm having a lot of bailers... which really, is OK b/c the less people that come the cheaper it will be to have the reception and cocktail hour I would like. Do you happen to have any pics of the resort you wouldnt mind emailing me? If so, please PM me and I will give you my email addy. I'm struggling to figure out which location to hold the outside reception too, so if you have any thoughts on that, would love to hear. Thanks!!

Attached are a couple of links photos of couples that have gotten married at the Beach Palace.  When I saw these, I knew I made the right choice!

You can see reception areas, and how the terrace is decorated.  I am getting the Amber package.

I think these also show how having your own photographer is essential!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
