I think I'm behind all you of ladies :)

We are Feb. 2011, but are having an interesting time settling on the date. It will be in the middle two weeks, we are trying to use the holiday in our favor so that the guests can have an extra day off.

Which means, we haven't sent the STD, but I did order hand painted wooden maracas and am including a boarding pass STD. We haven't looked at invites, yet, but I did start ordering some OOT bag goodies. I haven't found a dress yet, but haven't looked that much.

We have choses Rosewood Mayakoba as our wedding resort, but have not chosen the AI that our guests will stay at. (RM is really expensive and not AI)

For those of you that have booked your guests, what are they paying and what resort has their prices out yet?

Am I way behind? Yikes. I better get in gear!

Hi,

Palace Resorts have their prices out. I think my guests are paying $380 per night for a standard room and $480 for the more expensive room. These prices include all inclusive stuff. and are for two people....not per person. So people should / need to book as couples.

Palace Resorts set up a link that our guests can book with. You can view it at Wedding Website - Daniel Drew & Sara Kadow - Welcome on the "book it" section. If you want to get a feel for how it can be done with the hotels.

Some off our guests have booked airlines already.

For a round trip To Cancuun, From Wisconsin, its 360 with tax. Awsome Price! Book early ladies!

Thanks for the info! We are using Wedding Window, too! We have just barely started, though. Hopefully we can get it up and running soon! I think we have all chosen the same theme :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
