I didn't even know this was here! I'm an April 2011 bride too! YAY!

We're hoping to book April 30, 2009 - hoping being the operative word. In order to have the wedding at this resort we essentially have to book the entire resort for 3 nights (90% of guests have to stay there rule) and in order to hold the date we have to put down a 50% (whopper) deposit! So fingers crossed I'll have it in by month's end.

Oh and I'm a Jamaica bride too (Negril)!

I'm also an April 2011 bride. We have chosen our location, Grand Palladium Punta Cana. We are still waiting for the prices to book the exact date. How far in advance are the prices available??

I have already purchase my dress, I know it's early but I had the feeling that this was the one and now I can move on to other things lol.

Hi everyone!!

I am an April 2011 bride as well! Our wedding is set for April 13, 2011 at the Barcelo Cayo Santa Maria in Cuba. Our STD's are out, our website is up and running and we are waiting on pricing from our TA. I did get some prices in early April but since these were estimates only I decided to wait until the real prices are out. It should be any day now :) I am stressing out a little but once a few more things are under way, it should be better! Any hints or things we should be doing at this point or should have done ??

Hi Everyone-

April 25th Riviera Maya bride here...HOPEFULLY!? I'm waiting for the confirmation. Is it hard for you gals to find a quote for some resorts because its too early? I've spoken to a TA this week and she hasn't gotten back to me. I'm kind of basing my prices from this year to give a heads up to my guest.. ideas/suggestions??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
