I just used a paper slicer, my pages had like a light grey line to cut along and when I fold them if there's anything that doesn't line up I'll just trim accordingling, it was very tedious cutting them out and I think that's why I haven't done anything with them since cutting them lol

Ive kind of put my planning on the back burner lately, ive been so stressed about people not booking that the last thing i wanted to think about was the wedding. But good news i had 3 people book yesterday! So its time to get back on track! Ive got most of my stuff for my OOT bags, just trying to decide what type of bag i want to use and am also not sure if i want to do one back per room/couple or one per person? And for the life of me cant decide on centerpieces, i change my mind on what i want pretty much every day lol. Not been doing much other than that, I am trying to find a location for our AHR so i can set a date though, but I want it to be a more tradition reception but not cost an arm and a leg.

Hey ladies i'm hoping you can help me with something... I have a 7 year old brother that is going to be our ring bearer and our daughter is going to be our flower girl, other than the two of them we wont be having anybody else in the wedding. I need a fun & creative way to ask my brother to be our ring bearer so that he understands what a big job it is to be in charge of the rings and that way he's feels special about being it and also gets excited about it.

I thought about getting a build-a-bear in a tuxido with a letter askign him but im not sure if that is too young for a 7 year old boy and/or kind of boring?

Thanks in advance for the help

Teira, my nephew is the same age and will be our ring bearer. I tried to come up with something a little more grown up for him so I asked if he would rather carry a pillow or a treasure chest with our wedding rings. He immediately loved the treasure chest idea. At one point I considered having him carry a stuffed shih tzu so that we could somehow incorporate our dog, but I figured it was too young. I also keep reminding him that he will be "The King of the Bling" on our wedding day. I'll probably get a shirt made for him to wear at the resort throughout the week.

So now that he has a fun title and something special to carry he seems really excited. And he will love being the center of attention walking down the aisle.

The other idea I have is for him to have a banner that reads "Last Chance to Run!"

OO do let me know what you think once you see them! :)  I'm about 95% sure I want to order from Afloral as well now.

Here's what I ordered with my sister's comments:

calla yellow.gifThese look really good and feel very real.

calla orange.gif These are a little small and might get swallowed up with the yellow. The colour is not as bright as the picutre, closer to the inside of a pumpkin. We're going to use as boutonnieres. These would be okay in bouquets if there was twice as many. But for the price difference will be trying to get full size not mini.

orchid.pngNot real touch and you can tell. But they would still look fine as filler in bouquets. I may use them in centerpieces.

So I will now be trying to find the full size calla bouquet in orange or pink. Everyone only stocks the mini.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
