So I messaged her back and said if there was enough room, and that we are at 20 people so far and the limo only holds 16. She wrote back its not a big deal, and that shes def coming and let her know how much its going to cost, but Im confused bc she is supposed to be helping plan this thing! So why would she need to know from me how much its going to cost, and why would I even know that, Im not planning this thing?!

Brandy, that's crazy!! I would tell her that you don't know because you aren't planning it...that she should definitely check with your other friend. I hate when people want the title (even if it is FSIL) but don't want to help out.... Annoying!!

It's YOUR party regardless of who is planning it. If you already have hesitations about the girl, then you certainly DON'T want her at a bachlorette party. That is a personal party. I would tell the FSIL that you and your friend had already discussed the number of peope for inviting and it's already over, and that you just want it to be an intimate fun night with you closest friends and bridesmaids. Sorry had to post this since you said you had a situation LOL

On a note to my above post, I do like his swimsuit and would like for FI to have one like that for Dominican!
...I'm getting closer to FINALLY reaching my 150 posts. I can't wait to finally be able to open documents!

Bahahaha Kitty, that is hilarious.
Brandy, it sounds like you found a great way to stay neutral by pointing out the lack of room in the limo!!
I really don't understand why some people think it's ok to invite random people to wedding activities. My sister tried to invite this random skeezy guy she occasionally sleeps with to the WEDDING! I was like....ya NOT HAPPENING!! And then on of our GM's told, not asked - told, us that he is bringing one of his buddies we don't even know to the wedding for the whole week... WTF?? We had to quash that pretty quick too. What is it with people... this isn't a kegger - it's a wedding!!

That's fantastic, Kitty! That gave me a laugh as well! I do like the swimsuit too!
You are getting closer and closer Kitty! I remember when I was that close. I would just go onto the newbies thread and welcome EVERYONE!!!

Oh and I agree with the girls saying to let your friend who is planning handle it... We are having my stagette while we're in Mex for the wedding which leaves me in the akward spot of not being sure what to do with the gf's on FI's side. Some of them I like and some of them I don't so I just told my bm's who I did and did not want there and if any of the girls who are left out say anything I'll be blaming my bm's! Sneaky... but that's what bm's are for!

I agree Meggers, some people just don't get it. Just because it's a DW, doesn't mean it's not a big deal. It's not spring break here!!! I did have one guest who didn't want to room alone because of the cost difference, but she asked me first. It worked out because for our private dinner we had to pay for 25 people no matter what, and this person ended up being 25th. So, why not allow someone to come and eat the food that we would have to pay for anyway. But...I totally get what you are saying!
