I got lash extensions done at a nail salon for $30 and I had to work really hard to get them off after 3 weeks. I probably should have just kept them on. For the wedding, I will probably get them done again but just the short lashes, not medium and certainly not long.

Finally, you can buy colored sand at Michaels. They have some in the with the floral supplies but if you want brighter colors, I suggest checking out the stuff for sand art in the kids craft area. I saw that they have started to make an area for sand in the wedding section but not at the store close to me yet.

Good luck with your dress. I hope it looks great so you don't have to try to find another one.

Happy Valentine's Day Ladies! I hope we all get lots of love for our last v-day before the weddings!

Tris, houses are like men, the right one will come along and you'll instantly know. We weren't even really looking when we found ours. There was a few I loved online but just didn't feel like home when we checked them out.

Here's a picture of my bikini bottoms that I customized. I'm thinking of doing another one with "BRIDE"

Hi ladies!!! I still need to go back a few pages and catch up on weekend happenings!!

Just wanted to share my OOT bag logo! I bought the iron on paper this weekend with a 50% off coupone at Michaels so now my mom has a job to do! ;)  (i'm not sure why the colour changed to a lighter shade when I uploaded to photobucket.. but the tree is more turquoise)  Can't wait to see how it's going to look on the bags!

We wanted to not include anything 'wedding-wise' to encourage people to use them after Jamaica. Also hoping this is more gender-neutral. Because it sounds like another of FI's buddies might be coming now!  As of Saturday night, he has plans to call our TA today!!!

Tris- good luck with the house hunt! So exciting! And if you move the week before you leave just set up your bed and worry about the rest when you get home! It will be something to keep you busy! QueenDiva- love your bout and hair flower- so unique! Brandy- I think my list is way longer than yours of to do's. I'm trying to not write it out so I don't freak myself out!! Mocha- good idea with the jewels- I might look into that Laura - I like your oot bag logo, very simple and classy! And to eVeryone - happy valentines day!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
