I am jealous of the 50 degrees!

I've decided that it's a really bad thing for my checking account for me to stay home sick!  I went on the hunt for new shoes for the BM in the wedding and found a pair....but then continue to shop for myself and I've found a 4th pair of sandals I NEED to have and another pair of sneakers!  My mom said that my defense with FI needs to be, "things could be worse, I could be addicted to drugs instead of shoes!"  Gotta love mom!!

Specially the past couple days ive been out of control but i do feel like im finally getting some things accomplished and ordered off the internet for the wedding so i guess i can try to justify it that way :)

Let me make it clear...I only have one pair of bridal shoes!  I have gotten two other pair of sandals just to wear, I'm ordering a third pair, but mainly for summer wear here (they are just Adidas sandals...so nothing really cute, just a must have for me), and the last pair of shoes I'm ordering now are sneakers...  I usually buy a new pair every year...It's been over a year now...so I'm due!  smile123.gif

I guess I should consider myself lucky that I only have one day off a week, and usually spend most of that day doing groceries and laundry. I'm also trying to restrict my internet usage, but keeping up on here is not helping.

Yesterday, I was talking to FI while I was at Michaels, and joked that I might spend my annual bonus there. I need to make a list of stuff I definitely want to buy for the DW and stick to that.

Teira, I don't know what I want. I want a heel, but not too high or I will not make to the aisle, but not too low or I will have to get my dress altered. For a while I also couldn't decide between fuchsia and ivory, but now I think I want ivory, or maybe silver.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I found 2.5" x 3" frames in orange at Michaels yesterday and they were only $1.50, so probably only a $1 in the U.S. They are part of the Moroccan collection. I bought out the store in Regina, and will probably send FI on the hunt for a bunch more. I'm going to use them as place card holders I think.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
