I know, I read one that actually made my heart sink and made me feel like I made the wrong decision!!! But then you can go on there another day and people rave about it!! I dont know I guess everybody is just so different, and I really think some people just cant be pleased you know.

At this point, as long as it is hot and sunny I'll be happy. I haven't been on a decent vacation in way too long.

My thoughts exactly ladies! Travel websites rarely have positive reviews! I'd trust the reviews from people on here more:)

 

Tris - I L-O-V-E the idea of a magazine welcome letter! I bet it will look so awesome too with your background! I hope you'll post it online for us all to see too. I wish I could do something like that!!

Omg. NEVER read the trip advisor! (I still do though). There are so many people out there with entitlement issues that feel like they need to be treated like royalty and that they can be as rude to the staff as they want and still get respect. It really irritates me! Also, if you read the bad reviews you'll always notice that the things they complain about are ridiculous! "The front desk took too long", "food took too long", "I didn't get good service unless I tipped". Um, yah? And? You're on vacation. Have a good time! But be respectful! The staff are not your slaves!

 

The BEST one I read lately for my resort a lady had gone with a big group of family and they were so unhappy with how long service took that they made signs about how bad the restaurant ones and posted them on the door. The manager apparently took them down three times and they kept putting them up... up until management threatened to call the cops and have them removed from the resort. Apparently they had had meetings with the manager up until then to complain about how awful their vacation was and they "had enough". How were you raised that you think this is OKAY??? I don't get it...

oh, and about the magazine! Yes, I'm super excited!! I'm actually doing one for another bride on the forum as well .

Wow ladies...I cam back to 50 new messages tonight!  Busy day! 

 

It's been an exhausting one for me.  Started training a new employee today...it's always so consuming!

 

However, I did get to order my luggage tags...(see below)

I love them!!!  On the back, they will say "I'm going to Erin & Randy's wedding in Mexico!"  Yay!!!

Laura and Mocha (I think it was mocha) - You had commented on how it's hard to find the individual packages of advil, tylenol, etc. in Canada.  I am actually going to go to Costco tomorrow and pick up a big bottle of a few of them, and then separating them into little packages (what I bought the 2x3 clear baggies for.  I got this idea from another bride on here who did it that way in her OOT Bags.  See the picture below...

 

The other girl did the label on the back of the small business cards (from VistaPrint) telling the guests what the pills were and the instructions (and even the expiration date).  I think it's a great, and probably more cost effective way to do it.
