Greysgirl - I am actually doing the BD shoot tomorrow. It's a mix of excited and scared. I feel so bad sneaking around trying to organize everything without FI finding out. I haven't decided when I will present it though, probably before we leave. Would love some input for ideas from anyone.

 

Brandy - It will be so exciting for him to see you on your wedding day that no memory of another person wearing your dress will remain.

 

Tris - Those are gorgeous! I love all the colours. I have a cousin that works in graphic design in Winnipeg, I wonder if you know each other.

greysgirl - I did a BD shoot last year actually.... it was an anniversary gift for FI as my friend is a photographer and wanted to try her hand at BD. Only cost me $20 to help pay for the hotel room she got. I was scared shitless to do it but once we got into it, it was sooo much fun!

we just have all the photos on a cd, but part of me wants to get them printed in a small book to give FI on our wedding day. If I have time to do it lol

Laura - What did you wear at your BD shoot? I'm so scared FI will come home early and find us all at home taking pictures! I'm also worried that he might get jealous about someone other man seeing me in my undies! Any hints for relaxing?

mocha - i wore a few different outfits  - boy shorts and bra (which he hadn't seen) -- other undies and bra -- and then these thigh high american apparal socks he likes with a tank and - a thong! ahaha  having friends there with you is KEY. i was so nervous at the start, but we just blasted the music joked around and it got really fun after!  not much, but here's my blog post on the whole thing http://startingoutfit.wordpress.com/2010/04/20/did-someone-say-boudoir/

Brandi - thanks so much for posting that suit - we ordered a suit from Studio Suits a few months ago, and FI decided to spring it on me yesterday that he doesn't really like it.....  He's not happy with the color, and the suit jacket has big shoulder pads, but those can easily be taken out....  So, the hunt is on for a new one.  At least we have a back-up if I don't find anything else....  For those of you planning on ordering from Studio Suits, the quality is really good, but the color swatches on the website are nothing like the colors in real life...  Someone posted a photo of the color swatches they ordered in the studio suits thread and it is much more accurate.  FI got the Rome Beige - I think it's ok, but it's a bit dark.  Our GM got english beige and it is a much nicer color.

 

Other than that, I got a bunch of my travel mugs done this weekend - what a process!  I bought waterproof labels for them from Vista Print, but a day after I put them on they were all peeling off again...  So I went to Michaels for some adhesive/sealer and had to go back over them all - I hope the labels are all still on when I get home!  Bad picture taken with my cell phone, but just to give you can idea:

Here's the ring we bought for FI over the weekend. So glad we found it, Birks had it on 50% off but now the sale is over. Next week, we will go order mine that matches my e-ring.
