Yep, I sent out the save the dates in July so people could get on our website and check out the resort and give them time to think about it and hoped some would go a head and book, which some did, I also made note of having an AHR so that way those who knew they couldnt come would fell better that I was having that.  Then I sent out the invites hoping to get undecided people to get serious.

That's smart ladies!!  We decided a little later in the game, so I just did STDs/invites a little later than the STDs would be sent but earlier than the Invites would have been sent.  Plus we limited those that we invited to keep it smaller, on purpose.

 

Tris - That's terrible... I hope your sister is doing okay...

Ellabaja - She's doing pretty awful.... It sucks because he's a good friend of mine too, an old co-worker. They were great together and I really didn't see this coming. Now I don't know who she'll be sharing a room with, we may have to do a lot of switching around. I'm also really worried because we were at a bare minnimum with our travel agent to book... now we're under :S

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
