I'm on my last BC pack....10 days and counting.....I'm not getting any younger either....  smile41.gif

I'm a little scared as well, to be honest...I have 5.9 nieces and nephews (one is going to be born any day now) but the good thing is when I spend time with them, I get to give them back....

But I know it's all gonna be fantastic.

Tisha, DH's kids are going to be pretty far apart too.  With DH being 16 years older than me, he has a 15 y.o and a 12 y.o....  I'm so glad he's a very active man, because I know he'll be active as long as he's able to!

I wasn't keen on the idea of possibly being pregnant for the AHR, but I'm now feeling like... ehh, if it happens, it happens.

I have one neice and nephew (twins) that are about 2 1/2..  then my bff had a child last July, and plans to start trying again this fall.  She really wants us to be preggers together, which would be cool, but again, we'll see what happens!  DH's nieces and nephew are much older, as he is the second youngest in his family, but much older than me...  Though, one of his brothers has a little boy who will be 3 in November....  He just doesn't talk to that brother, so we never see his nephew.

YIKES!!! You ladies are freakin me out with all this baby talk! We just got married! lol! People keep asking us when we're going to have babies, but I still want to get my career to a certain point and still want to do a bit of travelling. My FI is ten years older, so he's certainly not getting any younger but I figure if we pop one out before he's forty we'll be fine, and that gives us two more years before we start trying.

Mocha I am SERIOUSLY loving that pink crinolin! What a rad idea! And Queen the colours of your wedding were so rich and gorgeous, I LOVED your table settings!

I'm with a few of you ladies, scared of baby thoughts right now! We are still pretty young though (25/26), so we've got time. We're getting a puppy instead. Haha!

Happy baby making to those of you who are TTC though, I'm excited that we all get to go on this journey together :)

See I was freaked out about the baby talk for awhile (before we got married obviously), but hubs is 44...  we already have two kids (teenagers actually) living in the house, so really, why not?!  I'll be 28 in a few months, so...I don't want to wait.  If I was 25 or even 26, I'd be waiting a couple of years too...  The other things for me that would be a big factor is that I'm set in my career.  I know that I have a position that pretty much isn't going anywhere (meaning lay offs or anything), so, I don't have that worry either.

Sorry to frighten you Tris. I'm going to be 33 soon and hubby is almost 30, so we are ready for that part of our lives. Our jobs are pretty stable, we already have a dog, and it's time to start filling up our house so that I can start looking for a bigger one. Hee hee. Might as well convert the "wedding" room to a baby room. I also know that even if we got preggers right away, we would still have 9 months to prepare. Plus, babies are portable so we can still travel and give them the experience of exploring too.

I'm in the same boat as Mocha.

:)

I don't want to be still popping out kids at 40

I have travelled quite extensively and have lived in 3 different country besides Canada before I met my husband.  He's travelled quite a bit as well. We both still have plans to travel but we also think it would be rad to go backpacking with my kids in south east asia or India!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
