I'll be changing to a more common name, but will still honor my maiden name. I do wish that it would make a more interesting middle name for our future children. Some of FI's family is pretty upset because he never took his dad's last name and now I'll be taking his mom's name too.

The career thing has A LOT to do with it. I've got some thinking to do. :)

Hmmm sadly I can't wait. I need to place my order tomorrow. I think I'll suck it up and go with Blurb. A girlfriend of mine uses them all the time and loves them. Plus they offer tracking to Canada so at least I won't loose my mind worrying. Landscape will have to do!  The link to my edited bd pics will be available at 5 tonight so I'll post some more shots when I get them!

Thank you!  I bought them from Michaels.  It was very easy to do.  Tried to keep them pretty neutral but put a little splash of the orange in them.  I think they will look great since they are on their wrists and not pinned on their dresses which may not match completely.  I used nice ivory hydrangas and I think the other is called alstromeria which looks tropical.  We are actually buying real alstromeria for my AHR cake as they are much cheaper than orchids.  Here's a pic of my daughters bouquet - her dress is an orange.  My son will be in a turquoise shirt so I made his bout a little different than the dad's.

 What are your wedding colors?

Theresa, they look beautiful. Where did you purchase your flowers from? I made some but FMIL bought a mauve dress so that will look horrible with orange callas.

See, professionally it will not be a big deal for me.  It will actually be a great situation because there is a girl in a completely different city/state that gets my emails a lot because people forget to put my middle initial in the email address!!!

Theresa, they look great!  I absolutely love them!

Theresa, your flowers look beautiful. On the name change thing, I can't wait to change my last name, it's not that i dont like my current last name but i just cant wait to be Mrs Clifford, also when we have kids i really feel that i want to have the same last name as my kids! That is just what works for me and everyone is different so i think you have to change your last name only if it is what you really want! I already have all the paper work to do it!!

On the name change, I was having a hard time a year ago dealing with the thought of changing my last name to where it would be different than my children's.  I could tell it really hurt my FI so as not to disrespect him, I'm going with his last name.  When we joined Title Boxing Club last month, we just put his last name as mine so I won't have to mess with it later on.  I'm ok with changing it now but it took a lot of thinking to get there.  Since I work in IT, I won't have a problem hyphenating my last name there for a few months until people get used to the change and then I'll drop my current last name.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
