It is a bit low cut but definitely supportive.... I wear a C-cup and it holds em up just fine!

THANK YOU for the photobook advice!  I knew you ladies would help out:)  I may try to bang one of these out today.

That VS dress is adorable!!  Is is super low-cut?  I always shy away from built-in bras b/c I'm not certain they'll contain the girls....Did you feel like it was supportive enough?

I'm in the same boat. I have a super common Mennonite last name. FI's last name is European and exotic, haha! It's going to be interesting how it goes over though because both of our Mom's have their maiden names. Hmmmm...

I already have a hyphenated name  - so this will be like my third last name!

the kids would have his name. It's not a problem for most ladies I know who have kept their name and their kids have their husbands name - no problem during travel or anything.

Francine,

Be careful using Shutterfly for your BD book. I had a coupon for a free hard cover book, so I decided to use it to order my BD book. It didn't show up. And of course, they don't track shipments to Canada, so I have no idea if it is just slow arriving or if it got lost or what? They are sending me another one for free, but for all I know there is a book of me posing in lingerie floating around.

I also used snapfish to create our guest book, just a small soft cover one with our engagement shots. It turned out well. I also ended up with two of those since they thought the first one had color issues.

Oh wow, totally forgot you had that issue and didn't remember that it was with shutterfly. Well, I'm waiting for my guestbook from Mixbook and I paid the extra $5 for shipping with tracking, so we'll see how that goes. I wonder if shutterfly offers shipping with tracking in the states. I will definitely check in to that before ordering. Thank you so much for reminding me.

I think the name change becomes a bigger issue as you establish your professional self. I've had people ask if I will change my email addresses. I think I will leave them as is and just hyphenate at work. Hopefully, I'll change companies soon and it will become a non-issue. I'll be changing to a more common name, but will still honor my maiden name. I do wish that it would make a more interesting middle name for our future children. Some of FI's family is pretty upset because he never took his dad's last name and now I'll be taking his mom's name too.

As far as the name thing goes, I took my ex's last name when I got married the first time, so FI would be really insulted if I didn't take his name. And on the professional side, I already anticipated this, so I started using my first and middle name for all my work. It's definitely a pain to change your name (already did it twice now with going back to my maiden name after the divorce) but the kids issue is a really important one. And afterall, I'm going from an 8 letter German name to a 9 letter Russian name, what's the difference really (and I'm moving up one in the alphabet too ;)

I am pretty lucky with the email address thing since my company email is megan@... so no worries there, I'll probably have my maiden name in brackets in my email signature for the first while then transition out of it. I already set up a personal account with my new last name so I'll probably just email everyone with my new email info and then continue to monitor my old one for a bit.

Mocha ours is kind of the opposite with taking the parent's name thing. My FI always wanted to take his step dad's name since his real dad was so awful but his mom never let him because like it or not it is who he is. His dad has long since passed and I think it will be nice for us to take that name and make it our own by attaching much nicer, happier memories to it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
