does anyone know of a cheap place to get 28 lanyards and zippered key card holders????? (with cheap shipping to canada?)  i was thinking of scrapping the idea, but then yesterday actually read a REALLY good review on trip advisor for my resort and he did recommend bringing a lanyard for the key.

Erin, I'm glad you finally found something he liked and in the right color.

I wish that I could find a check list for a destination wedding. I want to make sure I have all the little things covered but all the lists I find are either focused on local weddings and catering or don't cover all our little shopping lists, like sand ceremony and table cards.

For FI & GM, we still need to make a final decision on ties, FI is going shopping with them this weekend for shirt and pants.

Both his parents need attire.

I need shoes, but am holding off until dress #3 arrives.

Need to order BM jewelery.

We need vases for sand ceremony, I didn't want the traditional set.

I need to make paper cones for rose petals.

Need to find paper for programs, waiting for a good card stock sale at Michaels.

We need gifts for parents, BM & GM. (suggestions?)

Laura - someone else suggested checking out Acklands Grainger. They are a safety supplies store with locations everywhere. I'm pretty sure they would carry them and will usually let you break open packages. I don't know about pricing though because my company shops there almost everyday, so we usually get a big discount.

I LOVE the color of FIs shirt.  It actually matches the color I painted the kitchen last fall (yes, our kitchen is orange!).  I'm glad that is done.

When I look at all you have to do, I feel like I'm really forgetting stuff.  We are not doing a sand ceremony I guess... I never really thought about it, but I do like the idea... Hmm...

My parents also need attire, but I'm so not interested in working on that...which is bad, I know!

The gift for my parents is partially done I think...  We upgraded their room at the resort, so they will have a much nicer room!  But I feel I might want to do something else too...  Hmm...

The gift that I'm doing for the BM, is I had custom bags made for them by a local girl on etsy.  I absolutely LOVE them!  I have also gotten them earrings, some special snacks for their bags, and I paid for 1/2 of their hair & make-up

I do not know what FI is doing for the GM....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
