im 3 months out and now am having second thoughts on my wedding colors which are fuschia and orange.... thinking about changing to fuschia, light pink & green.... i have never really liked the color orange but think it looks pretty with pink but i LOVE pink & green together... these are some inspiration pictures i had from when i first got engaged...is it too late to change my colors?!

I think both options are beautiful Teira, but I think the colors you already have are much more festive and seem more tropical.  The newer colors seem more traditional and although beautiful, to me don't seem as suited to a fun DW.  I'm not a huge fan of orange either, but it really looks nice in the bouquets you already bought.  I think we should all have our internet blocked from finding new options as we get closer to avoid second guessing and over spending ;)

Francine-Thanks so much for posting that.  You did an awesome job and it's given me ideas to do something like this.  I don't plan on taking oot bags down there with me but we are giving starfish wine stoppers and charms as our favors at the reception dinner since starfish is pretty much our theme.  I would like to do something like this and send just them a few thingsbefore leaving such as a tiny magnet for the balcony doors to keep the air running if the doors are open and some locks for their luggage.

Brandy-Yes the ivory ones with the starfish.  They are so stinking cute.  I ordered the Nina sandals and they came in today but I'm going to have to send them back.  They are a lttle large on me and neither my daughter or finace like the thick sole!  I was really disappointed because they look so cute online and I was really looking forward to them.

Teira, I love the colors you already have, I think you should keep them, it would cost more to change it now, and I like the pink and orange better than the pink and green.  And I LOVE your bouquet!!!!!

Theresa, I dont have the flip flops yet, I wont get them for about 2 weeks but I'll take pictures then.

What if you just added another color to your pink and orange combo, would that help you wanting to change your mind?  You could add aqua or turquoise to the color combo.  Or you could still add green to it, here I found you some examples

Teira - couple different comments on your stuff!  I am pretty much planning on try the baby making right away after the wedding.  I'm so totally ready for it.  FI has two children from a previous marriage (ages 15 and 12), and I am ready to have another child in the house.  Also, I think you should stick with your colors too.  I feel like they are so much more tropical than the pink and green (which I also agree with, are more traditional wedding kind).  Of course it's up to you on what you want, it's your wedding...  You just have to figure out how much you'll have to change and if it's really worth it.

Lua - That sucks with the girls thing...and I can kind of relate.  I have one friend (my BFF/MOH) that I have left from growing up with.  I didn't go to college after high school, so I didn't develop those relationships.  Most of the people I hang out with are older women because I can't deal with the immature part of the "younger" girls.  I have three girls that I'm close to and they are the three in my wedding party.  I'm lucky in the fact that they are all able to come to Mexico with us, but I'm curious how my bachelorette party will work too...

Tiera,

I'm agreeing with a lot of the girls here about just adding another colour.

That way you can still use what you've bought thus far and from now on just use orange as more of an accent colour. You could put green ribbon over your bouquet handle to add green to it? Or add some green flowers in with it? Your garter would be still be fine... I mean people will see it once really, right? I personally love the idea of having 3 colours. 2 main, and 1 accent. Our colours are turquoise & latte, with berry as an accent colour. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
