First of all, thank you everyone!!  It was definitely unexpected, but it's also a great thing!!  So many MORE changes and then things to plan...again!!

I can't imagine all of this.  I know you also posted that you had a long talk and you are feeling better, so that is great!!  Why did these people not rsvp to you??

I am the exact same way!!  Luckily our AHR is about a month and a half away, but we have so much going on between then and now, so I really need to find some ambition....which has not been easy over the last week since I've started to develop the morning sickness piece of this journey!!

Meggers, it's great that your hubby got involved and helped ease some stress. And good job making the cupcake stands. I thought about trying to tackle that project, but I figure that if I combine what I have and what my mom has, we should have enough.

Erin, I hope your morning sickness doesn't last very long.

Our AHR is five weeks away, so I really need to get going on these things. The photographers have finished up our photo book so now we just have to figure out if we want anything changed. I hope it gets completed before our AHR!

Hey Ladies!!! I am back! Greece was amazing and the best trip of my life. The scenery and people were amazing! I had my birthday there and it was perfect. I have all the pics on facebook if anyone is interested in seeing them, just let me know and I will add you or you can add me. Name is already changed on there to Lisa Dias.

ERIN-Congrats!!!!!!! So happy for you. I hope the sickness goes away soon!

Kinda freaking out about my AHR also. It's July 2nd, we have 130 people coming and I feel like I haven't done anything yet and I am just counting on all the stuff I had down south and I am going to try and make the decorations work there but I won't end up having the same centerpieces on every table. Do you think that is bad?

Meggers, everything you are doing sounds amazing and so original, I can't wait to see pics!

I am supposed to have my professional pics tomorrow but I think he is going to be late which will leave me no time to develop or make a photobook and I am freaking out about this a bit. I may have to use guest pics ughhhh

Welcome Back Lisa!  I accepted your fb request, so I can't wait to see your amazing pictures. I think if you get your pictures this week you should still have time to have a photo book done, or at least some pro pics to display.

Lesee, you look great and your hubby is all smiles!

I feel so special, Del Sol blogged our shoot!! They asked me to write about how Shawn and I met, and they incorporated it into the blog!

Sorry to sort of hijack the thread, but Megan your pictures are what put the Galante back in my head and I went to try it on again this weekend!!! I am deciding between it (no straps) and the Mikaella 1406 and every time I look at your pictures I just fall in love with it all over again! You look absolutely stunning.  I don't know if I missed the story before but I LOVE the story of your meeting intertwined in your TTD shoot photos.  I do want to ask how the dress held up with the TTD, did it clean well?  I love the material and figure it will traevl really well as it cant really wrinkle, am I wrong?!

Love love love you pictures, thank you for making me fall in love with the dress again but now I am so confused!!!!!

Hi Tori!

No worries at all! It didn't trash it at all. I had it dry cleaned at the resort and it came out good as new. The seamstress steamed it before we left, it had to travel in an over head bin on the plane and made it to the resort unscathed. I didn't have it resteamed before the wedding or the ttd and it was fine!

Is there any stores that carry both dresses on so you can see them one after the other? Or maybe you can take pics of you in each and flip them back and forth? The Mikela is lovely too, I can see why it's tough! Maybe post the pics of you in both on here and have other brides give their opinion or ask a family member?

Here are a few more pics of the dress in action, maybe it will help? One thing I can say is that we got our wedding video this week and I absolutely loved the way the ruffles on the train blew in the breeze as I walked down the isle. 222779_10150548952170013_501375012_17986034_5537950_n.jpg224720_10150221172555516_516480515_8979162_6368385_n.jpg223061_10150575227515243_851330242_18220391_5387367_n.jpg

Good luck! Let me know if you have any more questions.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
