Gorgeous photos girls!  Megan, how long did you and your hubby shoot your TTD?  Looks like you got a lot of shots!  I wish I had gotten some solo shots :(   I am supposed to be getting my photos some time this weekend so we shall see how they turn out.

Thanks! We booked two hours, but our photographer Sol was so passionate and enthusiastic it didn't look line she was watching the clock. We went over by almost another hour! The DVD is coming in the mail and she said there are a ton more great shots on there. I'd say about 40% of the time they were doing solo shots of me! Sol told my hubby that it's the bride's show and he agreed. I'm sure your photos will be beautiful. Can't wait to see them!

Wow, that's great.  I got my wedding day photos from my photographer and my ceremony and reception pics are great.  But I am soo sad b/c we have like no options for our portraits.  There's only like 20 total pics of my husband and I, none of which are close ups, or of us just looking at the camera and smiling.  I am nearly in tears thinking about dissappointed I am.  You girls all got such wonderful pics and so many to choose from.  The one thing I splurged on was photography and I am so sad that it's not what I had hoped for.  :(

Tisha, sorry to hear that you don't have the portraits you were hoping for. Is there any chance that you have some better pictures from your guests? Maybe now you could arrange to have some portraits taken at home with you and your hubby in wedding outfits?

No, I have already seen about 1000 photos from our friends, and yes we got some great shots, but I was really excited about the professional pics.  Oh well, I'm sure we have plenty to make a nice book and get some photos blown up. 

 

On a positive note, I got a new job today so that made things much better!!

Hey ladies!  It's been awhile since I've been around... things have been so crazy here with my one stepson who is big into basketball and we seem to be finding ourselves in a different state every weekend (this weekend it's Maine). 

 

I haven't had a chance to look at many pictures, because I'm at work right now, but I will be able to do that hopefully in the next couple of days...

 

Last night I got the Photo Book I ordered from Photobin, and it is absolutely amazing!!  I had gotten a deal (1/2 off) through mamapedia, and when I put the code in, it gave it to me for free!  I just had to pay $5.75 for shipping!  It took about a week to get here. 

I also got my order from snapfish...over 200 pictures from friends that were at the wedding!! 

 

Now...  I've got some big news... it's early and we are not telling many people yet, just because of how early it is, but I got the confirmation yesterday during my doctors appointment... I'm 5 weeks and 6 days pregnant!!!  I totally didn't expect it to be so soon (like one of the first few days we were in Mexico)... but it all worked out at the earliest possible time I guess!  So, needless to say, we are in store for some very big changes in the pretty near future!!  I haven't completely gotten out of the "this is pretty freeky" attitude yet... but I'm almost to the really excited stage!  Assuming everything goes well, our AHR falls right at the end of our 1st trimester, and I think we may make the announcement then!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
