I'd have liked to forgo the table numbers too, but with 50 people coming from a number of different groups of friends and family I didn't want anyone akwardly milling around trying to find a spot.

Mocha I'm trying to think of a way to do that too! I am bringing a projector to show the wedding video, so since we're in a white garden tent anyway I think I might run them in a slide show. Since I'm using Mason jars in the decor I also saw a cute idea where you put the printed photos in the mason jars and set them around the reception. I already have pails with hydrangea, mason jars with windmills and the easel table numbers on the tables though so I don't know if the addtional photo jar will be too much.

We're figuring on about 70 people, so we will definitely need assigned seating as well.

I wanted to show our wedding video but since I posted it on fb, I think most people have seen it. I'm also having a hard time keeping our photos secret. MIL knows we have seen them, and has been asking where she can. Ummm.... you were at the wedding, you know what happened, wait. I don't want her to know anything about our AHR, because she will tell everyone and no one will be surprised.

I would love to be able to set a slideshow to music, but I will wait to see if we have access to all them. For now, I think I will just try to set up some mosaic photo frames. I'm sure that not everyone wants to pour over our pictures.

Mocha, you'd be suprised, people love looking at wedding photos all of our guests were looking at them all night long from 5pm- 1 am, some people looked at them more than once, we had about 3 photo albums set out, frames all over the place and a slideshow playing.

we're having a photo wall montage at our AHR as well as framed photos. A mix of professional pix and everyone's trip photos. kinda garden party style.

As our AHR is at the inlaws (and we're having over 70 guests!!) we'll also have a memory stick of photos and plug it into their TV so if guests are inside the house (which I'm really hoping they aren't) they can check them out there as well.

My father in law is Trini and it would be SUPER RAD if he pulled out his steel drums....

I wanted to share, that I'm super excited because I went and picked up our AHR invitations and CDs of all of our pictures from the DW!!  I will work on getting some stuff uploaded later today or over the long weekend!!

Regarding the table numbers...  I really would like to assign seats because we are inviting about 130 people...  but I know DH doesn't want to do it that way.  He doesn't see the need for it...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
