So even those these pictures aren't the greatest, I feel so bad not sharing something with you ladies. Hopefully, I won't have to wait too much longer for at least one decent picture.

Sorry Lisa I forgot to tell you how wonderful all of your decor and details looked! Your guests must have really appreciated all of your hard work because it certainly paid off!

Oh and an update on my AHR fiasco... it all worked out even better than the original plan!!! I always said if I got married at home I'd want the reception to be under a white garden tent. Well the closest I thought I could get to that dream was the gazebo brunch, but now that the gazebo was double booked they are bringing in a white tent for me and setting it up in front of a beautiful little chapel on the property. I couldn't be happier!!!

Oh and our small casual second AHR that was going to be a bbq at our place has now turned into a full blown cocktail party at a swanky lounge on King West in Toronto. SCORE!!!! I love the lounge we're having it at and told my hubby a while back that it would be an amazing place for a reception.... well turns out my hubby knows the owner so yay! Cocktail partay it is!! Thank goodness for the two AHR's cause otherwise I'd have some serious post DW depression.

Meggers I am so happy things are working out for you. that's great news about both AHR's!!! The videographer we went with was Oscarvideo. We got married on Tuesday and he was back to meet with us on Friday to give us the full video and the highlight video. I am so glad I paid the extra $150 to get the highlight because it is a perfect keepsake and everyone doesnt have to watch two hours of footage to get the spirit of the occassion. My guests loved everything and were blown away. We all had such an amazing time! It was worth all the planning in the end but goes by soooo fast!

Sherri, WHAT are you talking about girl, those pictures are beautiful. You guys look so happy and you look so beautiful in your dress!

Brandy, eventhough you didn't go in the water, what a great TTD session, so pretty lady!

Thanks ladies. I guess I'm just anxious to see how the "real" photos turn out, because I know they will be amazing.

Meggers, that is fabulous news about all your AHR events.

For the GTA ladies, there is a get together being planned at Square One. I hope a couple of you are able to attend so we can finally meet.

Yowza, girls....you can tell almost everyone's back...the thread is busy!

Mocha - you looked awesome!

meggers - stoked for you that your AHR(s) is/are better than before. Sometimes things we think are sh!tty turn out even better in the end. I'm sure you photos by Del Sol are going to be amazing. They're work is fantastic

Lisa - I'm dying to see this video! My work blocks out youtube. BOO HISS GRRRRR

My AHR is at the 'inlaws' in june which should be....interesting. There were some issues during our trip with the MIL which we thankfully didn't let ruin our time. (My parents ate their words and apologized for being so difficult prior to the trip as they had such an amazing time away! I couldn't be happier :))  We sent out the AHR invites as soon as we got home and now we're scrambling to get all the decor and catering lined up - we're doing the white tent thing too! It'll all come together and I'm so proud of how our invites came out. I'll post it when I get home.

Anyone else feel that it went by so quickly? Hands up....WHO WANTS TO GO BACK???? smile72.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
