Hi Girls, I just picked up my dress and it fits like a glove, I am so happy with it. It was my birthday yesterday and i woke up with a sore throat and cough :-( just got home from the Dr and have got Bronchitis ahhhh am now on Antibiotics for 7 days i will finish them the night before we leave. FI is taking me to Nobu for dinner tonight so i think i might go and have a nap for a couple of hours.

Happy Birthday Victoria and hope you feel better asap! FI just came down with a soar throat and migraine today so i'm hoping I dont catch it and that he feels better asap because we leave in like 9 days i think...

 

Also i was just checking the " You Vs. the Model" thread and noticed a few of you ladies on there ...

 

Tris - i love that you altered your dress to be a sweetheart neckline! It looks fantastic on you!

 

Tisha - i love your dress on you! it fits you perfectly!

 

Mocha - Did you ever go get the San Patrick sample dress? it looks amazing on you!

Teira - That actually was a picture of someone else wearing a dress that I really liked. I ended up ordering another dress but I'm not sure if I will receive it in time. If it gets here soon, I still might not have time for alterations if it needs any.

 

I hope your FI feels better soon and doesn't pass it on to you or your little one. Now's the time to increase your vitamin and fluid intake.

That was the only thing I didn't like about the dress. When they told me it was an easy alteration I was sold. Me buying a dress was the funniest thing. My sister & I walked in, she found it, I put it on, and I was ready to go. The salesgirl was getting me to put on all these other dresses and I just wasn't interested. I'm the kind of girl that when I know what I want and like, I stop looking! It would drive me INSANE trying on hundreds of dresses!

Since we're going to be the only people at our DW/elopement, we are taking a limo back to our hotel, changing, then going out to dinner.  I've been trying to find a nice dress to wear to dinner, and bought this one yesterday.  Thoughts girls?  It's silk, so I think it's dressy enough, but do you think it will work?

Thanks Teira for the compliment on my dress.  My seamstress is amazing and she fixed the dress right up to be everything I wanted it to be!!

Hey girls its been a busy month! I can't believe I leave in 5 days...time is going way to fast! I'm having a rough time trying to keep track of all the little details and am worried I'm going to forget something important! Anyone else starting to feel anxiety creepin in?lol how are you girls getting your dress down? Mine is on a cardboard thing to keep the chest from being smooshed so I can't lay it flat or let it get smashed... are you girls going to cary it on or has anyone found a clever way to pack it? I'm not sure if the airline (continental) will let me put it in the closet if I'm not in frst class....wht do you think? Anyway for those of you girls who are leaving in the nxt week what all do you have left to do now? I can't shake this feeling like I'm forgetting things :( iyiyi whoever told me that destination weding planning was the less stressful easier route to wedding planning was definitely wrong! Haha

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
