My FI has one black diamond and one white diamond in his ring they are on either the edge of the ring so not immediately visible. It's a little hard to describe but it's really cool

On a funny/trying not to freak out note.....FI and I realized last night that we were getting married in 4 weeks and hadn't gotten his ring yet.  Oops!  We've looked at a few places, but he hasn't found anything he loves.  Are any of your FIs having diamonds in their rings?  I like that look, but he's afraid he'll be too rough on them.  The rings he likes are the $90 titanium ones....which cracks me up about the price b/c he tends to like expensive things.  It feels weird to me to only spend that much on his ring.  Anyone else have the same issue?

I was up late too watching the Bachelor finale and the After the Rose.  I was a huge Emily fan during the show, but wasn't so sure after the recap last night.  Bummer.

greys - My FI has a $100 ring. It's Tungestan (sp??). I thought it was kind of funny too how my rings together are like $1500 and his is only $100, but if he likes it and it's good for our budget... haha! So our rings don't match at all. His is black & silver. I think it's fine though.

My opinions on the bachelor yesterday.. the after the rose episode just seemed, well, forced... and uncomfortable... I don't think Emily's happy with him and I think she's just trying to convince herself that she is. I totally understand her not wanting to move. Her daughters grandparents are there. I totally understand him not wanting to move, because of his business. I loved them together but I don't see it working... I don't know! It was just, like I said, kind of uncomfortable to watch... like they'd just had a huge fight and then were forced to speak in public about it.

Hey Girls,

Is anyone doing BD pix AFTER the wedding? My FI informed my last night he wants sexy pictures (ahhahhahha in my head it plays as if Borat is saying that) and it's just not in our budget right now but doable after the wedding.

This past weekend was very productive for me finally!  My FI was out of town so mom and I were able to work on alot.   I decided on centerpieces, got my welcome books and first aide kits started, got my bouts made, and got all of my stuff for my bridesmaid luncheon taken care of. :) Yay! cheer2.gif

Laura, yes the sale doesn't start until the end of the week. Maybe you can check stock again and reorder? Or go in store for a price adjustment. Not sure if they will do that for a swimsuit though. The tunic is very cute, and you probably will wear more than one cover up.

My FI's ring was just under $1K but I figured that I should have spent at least that much since my wedding band was $2K.. My feeling is that I would never want to upgrade either of our rings so we might as well spend the money on something we will both wear and love forever. It would have been great if we could do it for less though.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
