It was good.  We did it at a Bed and Breakfast in Solomons, really nice place!  The girl had champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, hair and make up, tanning, and extra shoes and jewelry.  She made me very comfortable but I'm still scared to see the pics, only b/c I don't have a "sexy face."  I wish I had smiled in a few more just to make sure I have some shots to choose from!  The make up person could have been better.  I really wasn't a fan of my makeup.  I ended up getting out my own make up bag and trying to fix it.  That made me nervous about someone doing my wedding day make up, but all in all it was a great time!

Thanks everybody! I ordered the frames from an etsy seller nikkisniffy, she was so awesome to work with. She didn't have the color of pink I wanted so she went on a hunt for it and they came out perfect! She has pretty much every color there is and has different sizes too. Mine are 5.5 x 5. They aren't lightweight but they aren't super heavy either. I ordered 6- 3 pink an 3 orange but I think I'll only end up taking 4 or 5 down with me. As for how close my date it... I'm starting to freak out a bit! We leaves 3 weeks from today and I'm stressing out. Almost all of my projects are done though so that's a relief. My main thing I still need to do is get all pf our wedding paperwork to my WC. And after trying my dress on again last yesterday for my friend ive decided I need more alterations so that has me stressed bc the lady who did my original alterations is 7 hrs away and I don't have time for a trip like that so I'm searching for somebody local thatcan do it quickly at a good price and do a good job. I was really bad about procrastinating ordering suits from studiosuits.com but had contacted them before I placed the order to make sure they would be here at least a week and a half before we leave andthey said that would be no problem. Then I get an email this morning saying that they forgot to make the pants with satin lining in them and if thats ok? But I'm worried since they are beige they will be too sheet without lining so I emailed back saying they need it and I still need to have them by next Wednesday. So I'm waiting to hear back to make sure they can make it happen. Ahh ok I feel 10x better after getting all that out. Deep breaths and baby steps!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
