Meggers, yes I can totally relate to the "bridal brain" like I said before I'll be so glad when Im done with everything and it all goes back to being normal, I have totally been doing nothing at work for the past couple of weeks I mean nothing lol! Just been on here, and online ordering stuff and trying to finish up everything, and I still feel behind!

Laura, I was thinking of not bringing any because of the packing as well.  I'm still debating on Teira's maracas because of packing the...  I really want them, but I just don't know.

Tris, I think that's a pretty good price.  With all that you're getting, I wouldn't complain on the price (I'm not trying to say you are complaining, please don't take it that way)!

Oh Jeez, at this rate I'll be reaching my 150 today! But Erin I am doing both props and the whiteboard!

I ordered mustache kits from Oriental Trading ($3!!), and I purchased a whiteboard from Michaels. I also picked up some red and black foam board and am going to *attempt* to make lips on a stick as well. I made hand held signs as well that say things like "Woot Woot", "Happily Ever After", "Introducing the Mr and Mrs" and "Game Over".

For anyone doing the white board guest book at DW, are any of you bring props?

Tris - that's awesome that your price dropped, do you have a price protection guarantee?

Meggers - no bride brain, just a general overworked brain here. I hope you managed to figure out a solution. I used to have a Saturn and you could boost from the hood or the trunk. Thankfully I never had to do either.

I really should work on some things this weekend but I think I'm going to play instead.  Kansas City has a huge Snake Saturday Parade that I think we will partake in!

Erin - For our guestbook, we had a charicature drawing made of us on the beach in wedding clothes and it's adorable!  We are doing the matt board around the drawing for the DW but I'm not taking the glass and postcards for our AHR.

I've finished my bouts for the mom's and dads and working on my daughters bouquet.

I'm now picking out my cake flavors for the AHR and our menu which is probably the hardest piece of all of the planning - the menu.

Finish up music for the ceremony and favor tags.

Laura - Love the coverup. I need to shop for another one myself.

Meggers, I'm glad your car was still able to start this morning!  I totally can relate to the "bridal brain"!  We just get so distracted with everything, I totally get it!

Brandy, my final to do list seems kind of small....

Create seating chart for reception dinner.

Purchase GM gifts.

Finalize wedding related events for guests.

Purchase thank you cards.

Buy snacks to add to the OOT Bags.

Put together the play lists (ceremony, dinner, dancing)

Go shopping for new clothes!!!

Put together the welcome book pieces.

Finally.... PACK!

How is everyone putting their OOT bags together?  Are you waiting until you get to the resort to put them together?  That's what I'm going to do I think...

Yeah Im going to put them together at the resort

I have all the key card holders put together in a tub along with all the koozies, all the kits are put together and they will be in seperate tub, so that way I'll just have to put everything in the bag when I get there and thats it and tie on the thank you tag.

Thanks Laura! I just hope my brain goes back to normal after the wedding! I'm lucky I have amazing bosses, they say they actually expected me to be worse! One of my bosses wives  took a year off work to plan their wedding. How nice would that be? Although they did invite 1000 people to their wedding... but still!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
