Hey girls,

Just dropping in.  I don't post here too often (mostly b/c I can't keep up, ha ha) but I love keeping up on all your progress.  You all are doing great.  I feel like such a non-bride lately as I haven't done much, but I guess I better get on the ball!

Tris, congrats on winning the gift card from BDW!!  That's awesome, and you look beautiful in your dress!!

Lisa, congrats on the weight loss!  Keep up the good work!

Michele, yay for the shower fun!  Hope to be able to see your dresses online soon!

Brandy, those dresses are just too cute!!  :o)  Not much longer!

Well, for my one and only status update, I had my second fitting and I do love my dress again.  The dress I actually got in from the shoppe ended up looking nothing like the sample dress I tried on.  But, the seamstress has saved the day!  She made it more fitted through the thighs like I wanted and made it more of a sweetheart neckline.  Totally transformed the dress!!  I love it!

thanks mocha & brandy!!!

the dress pattern overwhelmed me a little bit yesterday lol but my mom and i saw down and went through it step by step. she gave me something to do each night this week that should only take me 15-20 min a night, so here's hoping it works out!!!

Erin, I hear you! In six weeks, the only white stuff around will be the sand beneath our toes, the wind will be a soothing, salty refreshing breeze, the sun will be basking on our skin and I will actually be experiencing about a 60 C or 140 F temperature difference!

Brandy, I feel the two month, almost everything is done, lull right now. I also really need to see everything together so I can decide if anything is missing.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
