Francine, Your OOT bags look great and it looks like everything should fit perfectly but not be overwhelming. The only props aside from lingerie, sexy shoes and some of his clothing that I used were a champagne flute, my wedding flowers and veil.

Monica, we have local photographers attending our wedding, but they are paying for their own vacation. I don't think I would have paid for them to go on top of the cost of photography.

Hey :)

For my BD shoot I took my garter with. We actually had some fun, sexy shots with it. Other than that I just brought 2 pairs of the highest heels I own, a set of lingerie and a bra/panty set.

Thanks for the compliments on my OOT bags, I think the problem is I started shopping for them so early on that since I'm 50 days out till we leave, I keep feeling like I should buy more :)

For the girls who've already done the BD shoot, did you bring any props or anything, or just the sexy lingerie?  I was thinking that after seeing some sample shoots online, I might pick up some fake rose petals (in blue of course...our wedding color) from the dollar store and strategically place them for a couple of shots, what do you think?  Now that I have my homemade Laker Girl outfit, I'm contemplating picking up a pom pom, although I think they dance more than use those.  Any ideas on that front?

Thank you! And thanks everyone else for the feedback on th bags, I feel much better now and will resist the urge to shop for more stuff...hopefully ;-). Thanks also for the prop feedback, I'm definitely going to bring my garter, veil, a champagne flute, and hopefully a pom pom! And with my photographer, paying for her flight and hotel is he'd payment. Basically when it came time to book, she said she'd prefer if we paid for that instead of paying pretty much the same amount at the wedding. So it all works out. Have a wonderful Thursday ladies!

That's awesome that you were able to work that out with your photographer!  Sounds like a great deal to me!!

For BD outfits I really like the idea of steaing something of your FI's to wear in the photos. I'm thinking I'll bring one of his ties, on of his dress shirts and maybe even his favorite watch. Aside from that I'll be using angel wings that the photog has, a multistrand pearl necklace and lingerie. I hope this helps!

Do you ladies ever feel like you are over shopping/ over thinking your decor?? I feel like one day I like something and the next I don't like it anymore! With only 40 days til we leave I need to finalize things soon!!

I was going to get various sizes of paper lanterns in green and turquoise and scatter them around the ceremony site in the sand to add colour, with some smaller sized ones beside the chairs that line the aisle. What do you girls think? Would that look good? To balance it shoudl I add a coloured strip of tulle to the huppa? Ahhhh  I don't know!!!

Sorry... slight panic girl_werewolf.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
