Erin, Congrats, I can see why you feel a little weird but sounds like for a guy that doesn't go for Valentines Day he really showed his romantic and thoughtful side. Soooo cute!

So far it sounds like we have 4 down for a post wedding weekend, Laura, Erin, Mocha and myself. Would be so much fun!

I have so much to cathc up on so before I get to inlvolved I just wanted everyone to know how my weekend went....

I got a ton done, as well as spent alot of solo time with my hubby to be.  We don't get a lot of that with a 2 1/2 yr old running around.

I picked out my wedding band, just need to actually purchase it.

FI's and GM's clothes all came in from Island Importer.....the GM's don't match how I thought they would so I am going to rturn them and I have already found something that matches perfect.....I just wish I would have found the shirts earlier.

Lanyards came in, everything good on that end.

Got all my tags for everything done, so I just need to apply everything onto the actual gift for the OOT bag.

And last but not least....had my second wedding dress fitting....yay they are sooo gorgeous (2 wedding dresses, 1 for ceremony and 1 for reception).  I lost more weight so they have to take them both in even more....kind of a pain but yay me!!

I will post pics of stuff I have later, I have to catch up on everything in the last few days....

So far I have seen..

Erin Congrats, but you'll always be an April bride to us!!!

Queen.. Happy Happy Bday

Oh yah forgot to mention...FI is not a big romantic, but I walked in the house this evening and it was spotless (he doesn't ever clean, lol) and the kitchen was full of flower and huge, singing balloons!!  I can't believe he did that...we said no gifts becaseu we are saving for our wedding but....I'm not complaining!!

another question to those of you officially getting married south..

i'm going over the list of paperwork that we need to send down (FI's dad is getting his lawyer to notarize everything for us this week) .. anyway, in the list it says the usual..

-copies of birth certificates

- copies of passports

- copies of divorce papers (if applicable - FI was a crazy 19y/o and was married for a year...)

- documents stating name change (if applicable) --- what is this???? Is this if we've changed our name in the past? or is this some sort of document I need because I'm going to change my name??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
