From what Ive seen their photos are not great at all and they charge a ridiculous amount of money for less than average photos

Brandy, that sucks they don't allow outside vendors to come in for your wedding. You'd think they wouldn't care since they're making so much money from us already! I didn't like the photog at our resort either and they charged a TON! We're bringing our own photographers down with us that did our engagement photos and they're amazing and it is only costing us a little more than the resort charges for their photographers!! We're not paying vendor fees either because they're staying at the hotel with our group. I really wish these hotel chains didn't try to strong arm people to use their services. Especially when we're already bringing ~20-40 people with us!!! They should just have good services that people want to use!!! On a side note, I've been up for 27 hours now...Probably won't get any sleep for at least another 8-9 hours. This day is brutal!!! I'm going to crash so hard tonight!

Thanks Lisa and Mocha! We actually bought a Groupon for it about 6 months ago. The group on included a free consultation to ensure we're candidates so that is what I plan to book this weekend. I want to get it done as close to the wedding as possible. Did they tell you how long it lasts for? I've read that using a sensitivity toothpaste leading up to your appointment can help with the pain. I'm starting to feel overwhelmed with all the appointments coming up!

My wedding is at 5p. I managed to actually get some things accomplished last night. I ordered the rest of my meds for the OOT bags (by the way you ladies really need to check out Shoplet.com!), the holders & coils for my key card holders, my Jamaica bottle openers, and even limped around Hobby Lobby last night for some more real touch flowers. Now I just need to buckle down and tackle some projects this weekend. FI is taking me to dinner for my birthday so we'll see how much I actually get done!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
