Alright, so with it being Friday, I figured I'd start it...

What is on everyone's to do list for the weekend?

Mine is...

Finish going through the songs for the play list and see where I'm at for time, and what else I need.

Order the shirts for the GM (we found the PERFECT match for our eggplant yesterday!)

Print off the Welcome letters.

Send/deliver the luggage tags and pre-travel brochure's.

Decide on the image for the OOT bags.

Are you all buying another bag to travel for your gown????? How are you getting the gown to the destination?

Yay!!! I'm so glad it went well Tenny!!!

The bridal store where I bought my dress actually gave me a really nice garment bag with it. So it's just going to travel in that bag. Nice and pink and bride-ish!!!! ;)  I just read a recent review on my resort on tripadvisor and the guy said that as soon as they spotted his fiancee (now wife) walk in the lobby with her gown in hand, they immediately brought them to front desk and upgraded their room!!! SO hoping they do that for me!!  I should wear my "Bride" cap that I got off vista when I arrive as well! LOL

Hey girls...was searching for some things for the OOT bags and first aid kits and came across this site that has what seems to be really great prices, especially for motin sickness medicine.  They have whistle lanyards for $0.29 and the sunscreen towelettes on sale as well.  I suppose it is legit...  not sure about shipping...

My "To-Do" list this weekend....

- can you believe I STILL haven't been able to finish my luggage tags yet?? omg I've just been so busy! I'm about half done, so I'm going to try yet again to work on them this weekend. We need to get the pre-travel stuff sent out!

- get FI to find my monogram!!!! I have one more vista print order to place using the free logo uploads. BUT i have no idea what FI did with the file for our monogram!!! I have a copy on my computer here but the quality isn't good. I need the original copy but it's nowhere to be found on the laptop!!! EEK!!!!  FI thinks it's on one of our usb sticks... hoping he can find it because I don't want to have to sit and make it again!

- order our rings!!! as I mentioned the other day, they're finally on sale so time to get those things on order!

That's about it for me this weekend... i have to come into work tomorow (pre-inventory set up as we're counting in 2 weeks) .. we're also on dog-sitting duty tonight for my parents.. and i'm on horse farm-sitting duty tomorrow night and sunday morning at the farm where i keep my horse... not much free time!

Oh that's exciting!!! Since you say "moved up" does that mean you're getting the ring kind? That's the kind I wanted because my hair is so flimsy I'm afraid to damage it, but they are out of my budget :(

I'm so nervous...I booked my boudoir session for March 15th!! I was originally not going to do one, because my FI's last girlfriend is an actual lingerie/ swim suit model. I made the mistake of googling her and decided right then no matter how much I worked out my bod wouldn't look like hers!

So I told my fi what I had done and he (being the sweetheart he is) proceeded to tell me that I'm the most sexy, beautiful girl he's been with and that he would love sexy pics because then I could see me the way he does!! I think he's full of you know what but I definitely need to do the shoot for him now!

Sooooo I'm booked in now and frantically hitting the gym! I also booked an appointment to get hair extensions put in. Any of you ladies planning on getting extensions?

I'm in Oakville, ON. I actually went to the tanning salon last night (bad I know, I never go but don't want to be pasty for the BD sess) and the girl working there had wicked lashes. I asked where she got them done and apparently there is a lady in Brampton who does them out of her house for only $40! Refills are $30. So I'm going to give those a whirl I think. I love the jersey idea! I was thinking about doing a Detroit Pistons (FI's fav sports team) undies or crop top with the logo but my photographer's style is very vintage glam, which I love and it's why I picked her. I don't know if the hand cuffs would fit into the vintage glam theme either! lol!

If anyone is interested this is my photog's BD page http://kissedbylightphoto.com/index2.php#/gallery1/2/

Can I ask what part of Canada you live in? I got my lashes done at a place in Niagara and after 3 weeks they were still solid, I never lost any. I actually had a really hard time getting them off.

Tenny - Yay I'm so glad you found your gown!!

My dress came with a travel bag, which was lucky because I bought it in Vancouver and and to take it on the plane back to Toronto with me. That is going to be a very well travelled dress! I'm sure you can pick a bag up at a bridal store or alterations place.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
