Erin just make sure to pop an advil or something before you go. And don't be shy, you will have to show it all off. P.S. You and FI might want to take it easy for a couple days if you are sensitive. And he will prob have a hard time restraining himself.

I guess I will need to hit up the dollar store for a cheap glue gun :( I really hope it works.

Tenny....I had been waxing for years because I got in-grown hairs (you wanna talk TMI...) from shaving...well then I started to get them from waxing too!! SO now it's all laser hair removal for me and it's AWESOME!!!!!   I highly recommend it to everyone!!  I get Brazillian and love it!!!  I'ts painful but sooooo worth it.  I can shave everywhere else but def laser for the hoo-hoo!!

Bailey I agree with the laser, i just did a year(7 or 8sessions ) for bikini and underarm and love not having to shave but it hurts like a bitch! Well in my opinion and I usually have a high tolerance for pain. Never did the brazillian but thought about it lol

Tris I am not doing the usual OOT bag either. i have things I want to put in the room and haven't decided how I am going to do that cause it's really just a welcome letter, personalized pen, postcards and a lanyard with waterproof key card/money holder . It doesn't really call for a bag so I may get folders or something to put them in, haven't decided what would be best. We did get bags for the flower girl and ring bearer with beach toys and stuff in them.

Erin I am having the same issues as you. I ordered white knobby starfish to hold my placecards but they are too small and the cards don't hold in all of them so I am going to glue them to the bottom left hand corner of the business size placecard and then stick them in sand so they stand up but  i don't think they will hold up for the trip and I think I may have to do this in Mexico. I also need to attach the ribbon and maraca tags to the maracas when i get there because my grandmother who isn't coming until the day after me has the maracas and she is coming from florida. i just didn't want too much to do at the resort but it looks like a may just have to make a little drinking party out of it with some helpers!

Bailey - Yah.. sometimes I just ramble and by the end I read it over and think "hmm, does anyone care?" then I click Submit anyway. Haha!

We were going to do wine bottle stoppers because our fam's are such big winos. But we'll see... Since we started house shopping and have been told by our broker "PENNY PINCH!", the idea of spending around $100 on wine stoppers that everyone has a few of already seems, well, like a bad idea. Omg I've become cheap lately because of this house business! I guess that's a good thing though!! Haha. If we don't do stoppers we will do something. The OOT bag just didn't make sense for us. My family travels all the time so they know what they should all bring, and FI's mom is a pharmacist so she'll have the whole medicine cabinet with her... haha. So if we were to put together OOT bags for everyone I feel like they'd have everything already and it would be kind of a waste. We're doing little things though.. like I said the magazine (which is turning out really cute), and we're upgrading our parents & grandparents without letting them know.

(oh, and super awesome news, FI's parents are GIVING us our down payment as a wedding present. $15,000. love)

Mocha - Thank you for the tip on the taking it easy...  I guess I don't really know if I'll be sensitive.  This is going to be one of those "did I just type that", but....  is there anything you can compare it to, so I would know...  (I feel so dumb right now)...  I mean, it's gotta be different than shaving of course.  I know it's got to be different than when I wax my eyebrows and upper lip, right?  (I'm not sensitive at all with that.)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
