Ok something is really wrong with the site. Is anyone else getting a completely black screen and then you get an advil advertisement? lol

that sucks Mocha! Is this the person who is taking care of reservations for flights or the WC from the resort who is handling your wedding?

I can't imagine being away from FI that long! It would drive me nuts especially at a time like this.

Wow soo much to catch up on when I only look once a day....I'm going to have to check it a couple more times just so I can see what's going on!!

Brandy those dresses are gorgeous...seriously..you should be getting paid to do this.  You are great!!

SO just an FYI for everyone, I got word that the airlines and suppliers are changing their rules on traveling with your wedding dresses!  I advise checking in to it with your TA.  With my specific supplier, I am alloweed to have it as a 'free carry-on' but it has to be able to fit in the overhead compartment.  Whereas before you could hang it in their coat closet.  I know that there is companies out there that box up your wedding dress into a little box and then you jsut have to get it steamed when you get there.  Kind of a pain in the a$$ but at least you don't have to shove it into a carryon bag or something like that.

We have one person from Miami that works for the head office of the resort handling the room reservations, she is the one that left. Thankfully, our on site WC is still there.

However, the one in Miami told me that people could only book by contacting her directly, so that is what is on our invitations. And the resort still hasn't contacted me to let me know she is gone. One of my friends is trying to book and no one has called her back in almost a week.

Oh Brandy, to reply to your question about my dress, I did try on a lot but money was definitely a factor.  While I really loved the more expensive dresses, I just couldn't get myself to spend the money on it since my FI and I are paying for everything ourselves.  I really love the ruffly dresses and sweetheart necklines.  I just hope mine will work out in the end.  I think it will.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
