Laura, I'm not coming back home until 2 weeks before we leave for the wedding.

Brandy, I know I settled. I wasn't finding anything great in the stores or online, so I just picked something that had most of the aspects that I wanted. I knew I was running out of time and had exhausted all my options in town so I would have to pick something. So I took a gamble, got a nice dress, just not exactly what I wanted. I knew I was settling because I had no other choice. I stopped looking online because I didn't have any other options when I picked the one I ordered. I figured I would like it more each day, and I did, but in my heart I know it's not the right one.

Lisa, I would have been happy just liking any dress. You really did want that dress from the beginning and once you have it in your size you probably will feel better. I know I tried on at least 200 dresses. It's almost like I picked the best of the worst?

Some of the vendors make beautiful dresses for really cheap. They are not 100% exact but close. I loved the beading on mine they just positioned it in the straight across the waist and it was supposed to be angled, it was too big and the boning wasn't strong enough to hold the girls up but other than that the dress was made really well for the price. I used monica bridal. There is a thread about knockoffs if you are considering it but they mostly discuss bridal gowns.

Mocha, yes I know I can tell you dont love your dress, I just want you to hurry up and get something ordered bc its crunch time now!

Tenny, yes really the quality was amazing, I didnt pick some extravagant diffucult dress though either, and yes it got here withing like 12 days or something like that, most have 10 days to finish it and they have to finish it by the time it says on their site, and then from there it only takes like 5 days to get to you.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
