Lua,

That's an awesome price for your trip.  Ours was 1100 for 4 nights for most of our guests at RIU Ocho.  Not "group" pricing though as people are traveling all different dates.  Who did you use for your TA?

I received my Umbra frame for our sand ceremony so I think I will work on getting that put tgether this week. I also found some small great orange and turquoise bottles to hold the sand which will add some pop of color to the table.  Found them at Hobby Lobby for 1.25 each last week and bought four of them.  One for each of us and one for both of my children.  This will really make them feel a part of the ceremony.  I think we will stick with neutral colored sands so that we don't tire of the bright colors years from now.

Pais

A vocês,

que nos deram a vida e nos ensinaram a vivê-la com dignidade,

não bastaria um obrigado.

A vocês,

que iluminaram os caminhos obscuros com afecto e dedicação

para que os trilhássemos sem medo e cheios de esperanças,

não bastaria um muito obrigado.

A vocês,

que se doaram inteiros e renunciaram aos seus sonhos,

para que, muitas vezes, pudéssemos realizar os nossos.

Pela longa espera e compreensão durante as nossas longas viagens,

não bastaria um muitíssimo obrigado.

A vocês,

Ana Paula e Nigel

I got the clear ones from discount mugs
http://www.discountmugs.com/nc/sports-bottles/2285/16oz-double-wall-dome-lid-tumblers-with-straw.htm

If you buy them blank and 25 it makes them each under 3 dollars...

I just found these adorable ones on Etsy that I want to buy now for my bridesmaids and mothers for 10 each..I think Im gonna get them..

Im getting these with bridesmaid on one side and their name on the other along with either polka dots or flowers

We're supposed to have our AHR this summer, but I haven't even started looking! All I've done is the guest list, over 100 people! The AHR is going to be more money and work than DW!

Kathy, where did you get the mugs? I'm considering adding them, but not fond of spending more than $3 per person.

Lisa, why don't you ask the airline to change your reservation? They might only charge $50 per person to change it.

Lisa, great job on getting more things checked off the list! You definitely have a lot to do with the DW and planning a big AHR..I wish we could afford to have one but we are spending every dollar we have and then some on our wedding/ and honeymoon so no AHR for us :(

Brandy I am a cruise fanantic! My FI and I go on one atleast once a year, sometimes twice! It is our favorite way to travel! The longest one we have been on is a week so doing this 2 wk one will be amazing! We are going to be at sea for almost a wk before getting to the islands so we are going to work on that baby making project! hehe So excited! We actually looked at the one youre doing because I really want to see the southern islands. We have done a lot of Carribean ones also! Love them!!!

Laura so excited that your dress is coming along! I hope that once mine is all done and altered I will be happier with it... Im having the train shortened right now because I didnt like the bustle style..so fingers crossed that I made a good decision!

I've decided that it's a really bad thing for my checking account for me to stay home sick!  I went on the hunt for new shoes for the BM in the wedding and found a pair....but then continue to shop for myself and I've found a 4th pair of sandals I NEED to have and another pair of sneakers!  My mom said that my defense with FI needs to be, "things could be worse, I could be addicted to drugs instead of shoes!"  Gotta love mom!!

I would gladly send both of you some!  Between Tuesday night/Wednesday morning they are saying 8-18 inches... we'll have plenty I think!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
