Yay for getting things done! I FINALLY ordered my wedding band. Brandy, I decided to go with the simple one and I think I'll be very happy with it.  But thank you again for all of the options you found.  A lot of the decision came down to a money issue as well.

 

I was just checking prices for flights and hotel today and somehow the price was like $200 less than it was last night so I booked the flight and hotel for my photographer! I had been procrastinating as I was waiting to see if she could share a room with another single person that may be coming, but with the deal I found, it didn't make sense to wait anymore. So that's another thing off the list.

 

Of course now there may be an issue with the hotel because they changed their policy with regards to how many rooms and what category need to be booked in order to qualify for the discounted wedding package.  My original WC seems to have disappeared and the one that finally wrote me now made it seem like we won't qualify now, even though we got an upgraded room, it's not upgraded ENOUGH!  Hopefully we can work that out, and soon.  I don't like stressing about things that I cannot do much about.

 

It's great for all of you that are working out your uneven number issues for people standing up for you.  I don't think we're going to have any bridesmaids nor groomsmen.  It looks like the only friend I'll have coming will be shooting the wedding and the rest of our group are my FI's friends.  But I guess I don't have to worry about extra bouquets.

 

I got an email from vistaprint that was offering free uploads along with other free items and this time my FI got all excited about the products.  So it looks like I've got another shipment on the way to anxiously wait for!  We're getting close!!!

Brandy - That's a great jacket, too bad my FI is a 46. I think we might just bite the bullet and order black tuxedos from studio suits but they'll probably never wear them again. There was a special show at Costco where they had black suits for $139.99 but FI wasn't sure if he liked it.

 

I would love to start shopping for OOT bags, but we still don't have firm numbers :( I'm trying to figure out what I can work on that doesn't need guest numbers.

Brandy - my dress went to be fitted back in November - but all that needed to be fixed was the length.  Got the call this week that she's finished so I'm going on a road trip (it's in my hometown 4 hrs away) the weekend of the 29th to try it on.  She said if it's still too long, or too short that she'll just fix it then and there, so after the 29th, my dress should be good to go!

Guess what?!

 

So I had my first appt with a new dentist yesterday (want to get all cleaned up and such before the wedding) .. anyway they saw my engagement ring and after some chatting about the wedding, they proclaimed "well you have to have perfect pearly whites for your wedding day!" and then they offered to whiten my teeth for FREE!!!!! I'm so excited! :)

mocha just shop around!  there are a lot of dentists around here that actually advertise free whitening for new patients.  the one i ended up choosing doesn't advertise but the hygienist said the like to do it for new patients from time to time. i'm excited!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
