Ladies and my fellow heel lovers!! I ordered my wedding heels this week on Zappos and they came the next day!! Love Zappos! Here is a picture for you. I'm planning on wearing these for pictures but bought Reef white flip flops for the actual beach ceremony. Let me know what you think!!Wedding Heels.jpg

Yes I was referring to the nina flip flops Im not saying I dont love them, they are comfortable just not as comfortable as they could be, just a little on the tight side, but I really think some walking around in them will stretch them out to wear they dont feel so new shoe tight

Brandy - Thank you for the sandals review!!  I think I'm still going to get them...  I'll let my girls know about the tightness of them.  I do have one bride who is a bigger girl and may have a problem with the tightness, but like I said, I'll let all of them know!!

Now, I don't think it's a problem not having an even number or missing bridesmaids altogether.  We are going to have an uneven party, because my brother isn't able to travel with us.  I'll have three on my side and FI will have two on his side.  Not a big deal to me.

I hope everyone has a happy new year!  Be safe out there!

Hey girls

The more i think about it and hear all of your situations the uneven party is not bothering me so much now, thanks! I guess I just haven't heard of anyone else doing it but now that i see how common it is, it doesn't seem like such a big deal. In retrospect I wish we would have only picked a friend each but i felt obligated somewhat to pick my sisters which left us uneven when one of FI friends had to cancel. Oh well like you all said, it's about us anyway lol

OK ladies, I need help with figuring out what shoes to wear for the ceremony.  This is my dress.  It's not your typical wedding dress but this is my second wedding so I wanted something much more simple and light.  Cannot decide if I should attempt to get ivory flip flops of some sort or go with the barefoot jewelry.  Whatever I do, it will be very visible since the dress is short.

My colors are turquoise and orange/coral. I hope the picture acually posts when I submit this!

I would recommend flip flops or wedges with your cute dress... I love the barefoot jewelry, but personall think it looks best on longer dresses (kind of like the maxi dress syle). If you go the barefoot jewelry route, check out Jewels by Michele (like the spelling of my name, love it!!) I saw some great ones there. Happy hunting!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
