one of my Guest is a Marykay makeup artist she will be doing my Makeup on the big day....as for my hair I'll just make an appointment when I get down there...I'm really trying not to stress things out anymore..

Oh Ok so a card box would be the same thing. Not sure how it works down there but I guess you would have to have something that locks for guests that do bring cards and money. I would have your wedding coordinator put it out before everyone enters the reception room or even maybe at the ceremony as some people will bring it with them at that time and want to get rid of it. Maybe put mom or dad in charge of collecting the box and keeping an eye on it unless you have a teenage relative that could do that for you also.

Yes something like that except it kinda looks like you can wear it on your wrist.

I havent made any appointments yet for hair and makeup, Im still deciding what package I want to chose!

Im also thinking about going to sephora and getting my make up done and then taking photos so I can take them to the resort, I hear my resort does an okay job but they do a better job if you have photos of EXACTLY what you want so Im thinking about getting what I want done here and snapping a few photos to help.

My wedding package includes my hair and make up at the resort spa but they haven't had the best reviews and being a hair and make up artist myself I know that is what I am going to be most picky about So I hired Suzanne morel to come to the resort to do my hair and make up and I am soooo excited! Also my OOT bags I ordered from cheaptotes.com came in the mail yesterday and they are perfect! Exactly what I was looking for and for only .99 a bag! Brandy- can't remember if I told you or not but I ordered those fuschia peep toe heels with the flower puff on the toe and they are perfect! So thanks again for finding them

Have you worked on your iron on transfers yet?

My flip flops came in and I loooooove them! I think they are going to match perfectly, I may just sneak on by the dress shop and make sure they match but im pretty sure they will.  Any of you ladies in need of flip flops these shoes are great!! Not to mention they come in a ton of different colors.

Oh man, I'm glad you love them but I so wished you hated them because then I wouldn't be so jealous   I'm very covetous of your shoes and I'm so glad you're happy with them (especially after the first ones came out so stiff).

 

In terms of hair and make-up, my package includes it as well and the brides who have gone before me have given the salon stellar reviews (although one person commented on their sanitary practices with the make-up being a little less than stellar...so we'll see if I end up doing my own).

 

On another note, my FI and I did an engagement shoot yesterday. Most of the shots she took seemed very far away (the architecture where we were shooting was amazing, so think she was very impressed with it...perhaps a bit too much)  Anyway, here is the one teaser shot she sent from close up.  I'm pretty happy with it and I wanted to share.

I havent started working on my iron ons yet, im going to do what you suggested and get in contact with Jennifer again and see if she can work out a design for me, also thining about having her do my menus, place cards & OOT tags depending on how much she'll charge for it all... i swear i keep forgetting im on a budget and am spending money like its going out of style
