at first thought, april seemed so far away from christmas time! now that it's almost christmas it seems like our weddings are going to creep up REALLY fast!

it'swierd to think that in only 2 weeks i'll actually be booking off my 2 weeks for the wedding. a few months ago it seemed so far away.

Lua - I wish our office was getting quieter!  It's just getting louder because people don't want to do anything since Christmas is a week away (I can't believe it's just a week away BTW)!  The week after Christmas is the one I'm looking forward to!  So many people are out that week!

I'm with you ladies, I'm glad I didn't do it January or February either!  I'd be going crazy!!

I'm trying to not think about any wedding stuff until after the holidays. The only thing I've done is had a sit down with my printers for my invites... otherwise I'm leaving it until after the break. If I bring up ANYTHING wedding related to anyone they change the subject. undecided.gif

January is going to be pretty "wedding busy" ... finish up invites and send them out, picking up my dress & going for my first round of fittings, I have the "Wonderful Wedding Show" to go to one weekend... yay!

(and oh, I agree, it's coming soo fast!! yay!!)

Speaking of people changing the subject...  I must share a little story that made me very happy inside!

The last few weeks I have been telling FI that he needs to start thinking and looking for attire for himself and the two GM that are going to Mexico with us.  He's been changing the subject on me up until the last couple of days.  I've been looking for shirts for the GM just to have a idea of what FI will find (and what I might approve of wink.gif).

Well, just last night as we were bringing his son to basketball practice (which is in another town because the two we live in does not have a high school, so the kids get to pick a school in the area they want to go to), he says, "Why don't we go to Men's Warehouse, just to see what they have for options."  Of course, I jumped on it!  I was so excited that he was thinking about it!  That tells me how close we are getting, because before he wanted to wait until we were "close"!

Needless to say, we are a little unsure of what we are doing with the guys now.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
