I want to go try it on so bad but it's in Spokane, wa which is like 7 hours fr where I live so I'm waiting til February so I can hopefully hit my goal weight loss by then and they are going to do same day alterations so I only have to go up there once. I'm still in need of a TTD and am having no luck but feel I'm running out of time

Teira - that's so exciting!!!! here's hoping time flies between now and Feb! ;)  Alterations should hopefully be done on mine by Feb so I'll get to go and get mine too!  I miss not being able to look at it whenever I want now that it's at the seamstress 4 hrs away!

Hey ladies, you've all offered such great advice on so many topics, I thought I'd throw a question in.  Are any of you thinking of getting extensions for your hair before your wedding? If so, do you think they'll hold through swimming and everything before the wedding?  My FI and I are leaving for Punta Cana  5 days before the wedding, so I'm concerned about them staying and looking good.  I was also thinking about doing a hair and make-up trial at home and bringing photos to the island for the stylists there.  I've been told by many past brides at my resort that the hair and make-up people at my resort are great, but I'm concerned about not being sure abut how I want to look until the day of.  Your thoughts?  Thanks!!

fmichelle,

I have clip in extensions that I'm using for my wedding day. I did them myself too... buying them already sewn onto the clips can be ridiculous... just buy the real hair, buy the clips and buy the thick thread and sew them on yourself... it's super easy and will literally save you close to $100... Plus they still look awesome and you can wear them when you want :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
