I'm so impatient when I order anything online lol. I'm so excited I just booked Suzanna Morel for my hair and make up! Her work is fantastic and she was so sweet when I spoke with her on the phone! One more thing checked off my list!

Laura - I have only had snow tires the last two years, and I think it makes a huge difference.  Previously I had a standard car and all seasons, and I really wish I had the standard back, but the snow tires help a lot too!

Mocha - I get what you are saying about the old cars, do you guys not have inspections on your vehicle?  I know not all states have it here in the US, but that makes a big difference with junky old cars.  If they do not meet the inspection requirements our state sets, they cannot (legally) be on the road.  VT is also one of the states that has emission standards as well, which helps the environment!

thought i'd chime in on this :) ... although it's not law I do notice more and more people getting them the past few yers.  I've had mine for 3 winters now and the snow tires, combined with the fact that my car has a standard transmission, makes a HUGE difference.  After driving with them for 3 winters (this is my 4th) I wouldn't ever want to go without. I just feel safer with them.

Hi Ladies!

I'm getting married on April 17th in Riviera Maya and new to this thread. I've been posting and learning from the ladies who are getting married or have already been married at my resort, but I know I can learn a lot from you here too! I look forward to hearing everyone's planning progress. I know I need HELP!

Teira, I ordered mine here: http://www.sayanythingceramics.com/sand_ceremony_frames.php

and love it!! Take a look and let me know what you think.

Teira - we're making our own. I bought a shadow box and I'm going to have FI drill a hole in the top to pour in the sand. We'll afix a photo to the front with photo squares. I wanted to be able to swap out the picture but haven't figured out how we'll do that. I just didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that will probably end up hidden away. But I love the sand ceremony symbolism.

On another note, I went to pick up my altered dress tonight. It fits good, but I still don't know if it's THE DRESS. She forgot to move a couple of the rufffles, so I can't take it home until Monday :(

Welcome to the forum Michele, glad you joined us!

I didnt want to keep posting on that other thread so Abbie could close it out, Im actually from Southern Maryland.

Laura, I would give them a call and make sure they received your order.

Mocha you tried on your dress thats great, how did it make you feel though, not all of us get that moment so I understand, but it is important to know how the dress made you feel when you put it on

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
