Teira - Congrats!  That's awesome!!!!

Lua - That is a TON of fabric to have removed!  I couldn't imagine!  I'm glad you've gotten the ball rolling and also know what you want to do with the extra fabric!  Yay!!!

Wow, I'm off for a day and I have 22 updates!  Insane!

This past weekend I worked on my DIY Chapstick and completed those!  It was nice to check something off.  I'm undecided on what exactly I want to do with the First Aid Kit and extra stuff... so I need to make a decision there!.

Also - a minor vent from yesterday... okay, maybe a major!  On Friday I emailed our travel agent (TA Wendy) and asked for an updated list of people who have put their deposit down.  She got back to me yesterday morning, and one of the couples on the list hasn't even RSVP'd yet.  It's actually the only couple that we were waiting on.  It's one of FI's brothers, the one he actually doesn't speak to.  I've been in contact with him a few times over the last two weeks to get an answer from him (I speak to him a little bit, to be civil at least), and he won't respond!  It's just irritating!!!

Ella - what is it with brothers?!?!? geeze!

I think I already told you all how neither of my brothers have even made an effort to come to my wedding.... which under circumstances I understood.  One brother just got married this past summer downtown Toronto - so a LOT of $$$$. and the other is getting married Jan 2012.

Well..... I'm pretty sure I already mentioned that the one who just got married is now going to a friends - get this FRIENDS - wedding in Mexico next month... but still no word about coming to mine................ and now this past weekend, I find out that my other brother and his fiance are going to the Caymen's in Jan!!!!!! -- but NOT coming to my wedding!! grrr..... I understand his fiancee's parents own a place down there so he only has to pay for his flight and food and such... but damn... what a slap in the face.

Laura, that's crappy!  Brothers are evil!!  My brother (only sibling) is not going to our wedding, but I get his situation a little more... he and my SIL have twins that are just about 2 years old and there is a lot going on with her side of the family where she'll probably much be left here by herself to deal with it.... plus, with everything they are having a hard time funding it.  He's been totally upfront about it though, and that's why I can appreciate it.  I still wish he'd be there, but I understand.  I'm glad your grandmother said something!!!  Go her!

Brandy, I will share them.  I took pictures, I just haven't uploaded them yet.  I'll do it over the next few days since I work tomorrow and then I'm off for four days for Thanksgiving.  I'll add them before the weekend!

OMG, I will be so upset if my sinblings don't come to my wedding. They would be in my Shit list for life. Look at me here, I was really upset because a couple (good friends of us) recently cancelled on coming to teedding because they just broke up.  I mean..hello.. I understand that destination weddings could also turn into a mini vacation for everyone but I think the number 1 reason is to come and support us/be there for our special day...right?

OMG, I am also realizing time is passing by way too quick. I am getting married April, 16, 11 only 4 months and 23 days till the wedding!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
