Hi Lua,

I live in TO as well. Have you tried The Dressroom on Danforth? I went there the other week. They have less expensive dresses. I tried on one that was $300 and another for $500 - and you would get a new dress.

You could also try the BRidal Project - they have used dresses for little money, which all goes to a good cancer.

Regan/Blondy - I haven't heard of The Dressroom yet - will put that on my list if I don't find one at my first store. I'm planning on going to Your White Dress (near Yorkdale Mall) first as that's where every dress is $299 (here's the link incase you hadn't heard of it Your White Dress ? Discount Wedding Dress Outlet). The Bride's Project is also another on the list. They actually carry new dresses as well as used. A friend of mine got hers brand new there for $350 a couple of years ago.

I am getting married April 14th at Beaches Turks & Caicos. Just started looking for a dress but can't seem to find what I want in actual stores. I see a lot of dresses that I love on line, but I am nervous to order without trying on. Has anyone ever ordered from Littlecoral.com They seem to have awesome prices and a large selection of beautiful dresses. I don't know, maybe I will buy one that I really like for a TTD session - and if it is great, I will just use it for the ceremony too.

Hi everyone!

We're getting married April 5, 2011 on Honeymoon Island! 9 months and 10 days...so excited! We are thinking about making our own boarding pass save the dates, and are hoping to send them out as soon as we are happy with them.

Hello everyone!

I'm an April 21, 2011 bride. We're getting married at Sandos Playacar Beach Resort in Mexico. I'm sooooo excited!! I find it so much more real now that we've booked.

We've just got a great group rate of 1390 taxes in (April 18-25). We lucked out because two days before we officially booked, the price dropped from 1600 to 1390! We're booking with Signature, and they offer a one time price drop gaurantee. It probably won't drop again, but we're covered if it does :)

We needed 10 people to book with us to get the group rate, but that was no prob...my family is huge!

So excited!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
