Congrats, The Royal looks SO amazing!!! Very happy with my resort choice, but if I wasn't having kids at my wedding, that's definitely where we would have gone!

We stayed at The Royal in Cancun in 2008 and LOVED IT! I am so looking forward to staying in PDC! Actually Princess, they have a family resort right across the street from The Royal that's operated by the same people. You could stay at either or have your wedding at either place.

Msglave - you are so productive and that is awesome you have so many people booked already!! The Royal looks like a great resort too.

I just started thinking about OOT bags, there are just so many things I want to get. I have been a little shopaholic with clothes for the trip.

hey everyone! i am getting married at secrets moroma on dec 6th! i have just payed our deposit and sent out emails asking our friends to confirm. i am very behind! questions to brides... how involved our you with you resort coordinaters? are you bringing anything down with you our having it arranged through the resort? i am trying to make this as stress free as possible. we are not going to have a dj and will just use our ipod. not sure about the photographer. it seems most people outsource there photographers instead of using the resorts. anyways good luck to all and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Lots of ladies at my resort are having problems hearing from their WCs. Luckily, mine is awesome!!!!! She always gets back to me within 48hrs of an email. I'm doing OOT bags, small gifts, centerpieces and (maybe) bouquets. We are going to pay extra for the DJ. My FI says a party isn't a party without a DJ! We are not going with the photographers at our resort-they are not good! Because this is so important-we are gonna pay to go with a MUCH BETTER photographer!

I can't figure out how to post pics, but here are the links, I hope they work! I'm a bit worried the rhinestones on the sandals might catch on my dress since it's lace, but I'll test it out :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
