Hey everyone! Just curious how many of us are getting married in December. My wedding date is December 13 at Secrets Maroma Beach. It still feels like it is so far away.

Where is everyone getting married?

How far along are you in the planning process?

I feel like I am at the part of planning where not too much is going on but I hope I am not forgetting anything :)

Another December bride here!

December 8th - Dreams Riviera Cancun smile29.gif

I started a thread for December brides awhile ago, but in the General area (so for all DW brides): http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...-brides-56114/

But I am especially interested in getting to know the Cancun/Mayan Riviera girls!

I have sent out STD's (and people have started booking - yay!!!), and have booked my photographer and DJ.

Next on my agenda (that I need to do very soon!): invitations and wedding dress!!!

Another December 2010 bride here! :)

We are getting married December 16, 2010 at the Grand Riviera Princess.

I think I'm somewhat on track, but really have no idea. My dress is bought, our Save the Dates went out in January, and our invites are going out this week. People are booking steadily, and every time someone books I get so freaking excited! He he. Oh and a friend of ours is a photographer, so he is already booked and wants to meet up soon to go over "must take photos" and the TTD session. :)

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Small world!!! I'll have to check out 'Wedding Things' sometime - thanks for the tip :)

What kind of a dress did you get? I have only been wedding dress shopping once so far and fell in love with two dresses already! Need to go again and figure out what I want...

That's a good sign, 2 dresses you love already! Isn't dress shopping the best?! :) I bought a Alfred Angelo dress, I can't remember the style number, but it's strapless (sweetheart neckline), lace with a simple bow around the waistline and tiny bows down the back into a cathedral train. It's really simple and classic looking. It isn't too heavy which I think will be good for the heat.

Another Mexico December 2010 bride here! Getting married Dec, 20 at Riu Palace Riveria Maya. Planning is going well: wedding dress, STDs out, potential BM dress and suit for FI, photographer, and AHR date and possible location. I feel like a lot of the destination part is on a stand still for now too... You all will have to keep me poster on what I should be doing, because I am not too organized! I love that this websites gives me soo many great ideas and reminds me of the things I need to do!

*waves hello*

I feel the same way! From what I understand, now that the resort is chosen, and date and time of the ceremony, I don't have to book our reception site, flowers, cake, etc. until much closer to the date. This drives me crazy! He he. What do your BM's dresses look like? I'm stuck on choosing colours :S

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
