Ladies, in place of flowers on the tables what else could I use?
If I was not having a dw ,then my guest could take them home as favors.
I do not want pay $$$ for flowers to have them trashed after everything is done. That is $$$ that I can put towards something else.
Any suggestion / pictures would help

You could do something like this but put it in a low container. Like a peice of the beach.
      I will keep looking

What about floating candles is some kind of vase...you could put shells or seaglass in the bottom.

Looks like they are favor boxes with one having the table # on it.

I used limes and candles and one big lily on each table. I estimate that each table's decor cost less than $10. Click the image to open in full size.

                What are your colors?

How about a footed cake plate with a different dessert on each table.

                      For example:
                      Table #1 = Brownies
                      Table #2 = Cookies
                      Table #3 = Pastries
                      Table #4 = Cupcakes

You get the idea. This can be part of your "dessert hour" at the end of the reception and guests can mingle to the different tables for some snacks.
