I am so glad you liked it and are going to go again. smile123.gif That makes me happy cause you really need to get out there and get yourself a dress. Do not settle for something you don't love though.

Shelley, sometimes they can order it with no train or a shortened train. You may just want to ask if you find the "one" and the train is too long.

I had that problem with a couple of dresses and the bridal shop had told me certain designers have the option for trains to be removed.

So, I went to David's and to be quite honest, I really didn't "fall in love" with any of the dresses.... but here are the pic as promised...

I almost got this dress for myself. Actually went to buy it and found another that I fell in love with.

That said, I LOVE that dress and it looks great on you ... but it's not likely to be a very unique dress since it's a popular one at Davids. Not that that matters .. just a thought.

My advice is to keep looking and just when you think you are tired, keep looking somemore (that's assuming you don't find one you are in love with). I must have tried on at least 70 dresses. At times it was confusing and exhausting but I eventually figured out exactly what I wanted and finally found a dress that had all those elements. I so much more happier now. Also, try on dresses you would never imagine wearing. You will be surprised to find out that they look great on you and ones that you love may not look as good.

This is ssoo true. I wanted a light, flowing DW dress ... but Mom brought me some of the more traditional ones and I found that the ones I hoped to wear simply didn't look good and the more traditional did. I also found with my skin tome that the same dress in white looked horrible on me, but everything in ivory looked great. So, just be open minded too. You'll be surprised!!

I am going Friday too!!!
Ok, when I go dress shopping again next time, I'm asking for your opinion. I think we have the same taste in dresses! Those two were my favs too. If you HAD to choose from only those, I'd pick the 3rd one.

So, did you have a blast, or what??! omg - and you're going again on Friday!! You'll post more pictures, right?!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
