      That was pretty much the response I got when I emailed my documents to her at first, so I mailed them as well!! Better safe than sorry!

          This might be a stupid question. Do we need anything else to get legally marrried in Jamaica? I already sent in the notarized copies they request but do I need a marriage license or anything? I don't want to get down there and not have what I need.

            I don't think we need anything else. I am going to bring an extra copy of my notarized doc's though, just in case...

              Nope, when you get married you sign your marriage license and that's the legal fees you pay. If you have the free wedding the fee for the officiant and marriage license is 200 bucks. They get the license for you. No worries.

                  what if you can't find your ORIGINAL birth certificate. I have a copy of mine....would i still be able to get the copy notorized?

                    Contact the office in the state where you were born and request a certified copy of your birth certificate. I actually ordered mine online and got it in 7 days.
