Hi ladies,

Sorry I have been MIA, life threw me a curve ball involving a 12 day hospital stay and I have just been recovering at home the last two weeks now.  Luckily i have the most wonderful husband to look after me :)  I just wanted to post a link to our wedding photos from Ceiba finally, we are thrilled with them!  Thought you would enjoy looking at some of the sites and decor as well as the numerous places onsite that make amazing backdrops!

Hi!

I am sorry to hear about the health issue.  I hope all is ok and you are recovering!

I looked at the first album of getting ready pictures - very nice!  The other albums are locked, however.  I am not sure if you are willing to share the passcode to view them or not, but if you are I would LOVE to see the rest of the pictures.  I am about 1 1/2 months away... :)

Wow Lauren, that's crazy!  Whatever it was I'm glad to hear you're on the road to recovery and wishing you the best.

Thank you so much for sharing pictures from your wedding celebration weekend!  They are fantastic!  The best part is they truly show the happiness and emotions of you and your husband.  Everyone looks like they were have a great time!  It really helps seeing the pictures to know what to expect.  We're actually taking a trip down the 2nd weekend in April to meet with the hotel and go over the details.  I'm very excited as it'll answer a lot of questions.  Diana said there's actually a wedding the weekend we're there so that'll be fun to see.

Tweets -your wedding is just around the corner!! Woohoo!! :)

KPSouthie - It really is a small world! :)  What days will you be there?  Are you visiting on Saturday?  (Our ceremony is at 6, with reception to follow.)  Are you staying overnight at Ceiba?  We should try to meet - and can give you my review/updates in real time. :)  You are welcome to check out everything we do!

Hi Theresa!

This is so exciting!!!!  We will be staying at the Ceiba from Thursday, April 7 and departing on Monday, April 11.  I can't thank you enough for your gracious offer and I would love to meet you!!  I'll PM you all my details.  Funny, I think our weddings are about the same size!  We have about 65 people booked and we're expecting 80-100 people.  How many will be attending your wedding?  Also did you decide to do the bonfire?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
