Okay, so I have NO CLUE on how to inform guests the order of the wedding.

Ceremony at 3 on the beach, followed by champagne toast, pictures, then meeting for dinner at 7, then the reception immediately after dinner

Now my problem is, where do I put all this info for guests? Do I do a program and put it with their fan on their chair at the ceremony (the invitations stated the ceremony time, location).

Thanks!

We are planning on giving out programs at the ceremony, most likely handed out by a family member or other important person, or possibly with fans (you can find templates for all of this on these forums).

We also put the information on our wedding website under "Wedding Day Activities" so that guests had a bit of a heads up.

Just to reinforce everything (which I'm finding is a MUST for a DW), all of it will also be in the welcome brochure.

I guess between those three things, we hope to have our bases covered. I'm sure we'll STILL have someone clueless as to what is going on. But hey! At least they can't say I didn't try! cheesy.gif

If you got a list of room numbers you could drop them off at each room prior to the wedding...so they have time to look over the information are prepare, and have some at the wedding.

I have all this stuff posted on my web page. I will probably put an agenda in their rooms apon arrival to the resort that not only list the wedding day activities ,but the trip activities...Meet and Greet Dinner..ect..

I too have put all the info on the website but have found with a DW i have to keep reiterating the important info as DWbridetobe has said. I will also put the info in a welcome brochure i am making to hand to them on arrival including a short and sweet timeline.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
