Any places for Boudoir photos in NYC at affordable prices?

Hello Ladies,

I know we had a past thread on Boudoir shoots happening around NY, but they came & went (and were way too early for me), and there's currently a thread on boudoir poses, but do any of you know of any good places/photographers that do boudoir shoots (preferably with curvy/plus-size bride experience) at affordable prices? I can't find the one site that was mentioned. But I do remember that the special price only came about after 4-5 ladies booked consecutively. Any suggestions?

I was planning to do a group bd shoot but it didn't work out. I found a great photographer who was recommended by some NYC ladies on here. I think she's the one you're talking about. Her work is fab and she's reasonably priced. Check out her site and you'll see. Beautiful and Affordable Photography

 

By the way, I'm getting ready for my bd shoot with her tomorrow. A little nervous but so excited. Can't wait to see how they turn out.

I'm seeing Jen next week & I'm nervous too, but really excited!

 

Gigi, definitely email Jen! I don't think the price was all that different booking separately or with a group (I'm going by myself & chose a package around $400, which I think is the cheapest package she offers)

I didn't know that you booked with Jen too!! A group of us are booked with her in early May. Let us know how it turns out!!

To the OP...I too am a "curvy" bride and based upon what I've heard, I think Jen will be great for brides like us to work with!! Also...we were able to get a group rate, but she also came out with a discounted package...ask her if it is still available and tell her that you are from the BDW board.

Well, I had my BD shoot with Jen yesterday and it was great. I admit I was a bag of nerves... with all the rain this weekend I thought of cancelling. I'm glad I went through with it. I never thought I would have done something like this! I didn't even know about these pics until I joined BDW. I was trying to find a wedding gift for my FI and saw a lot of posts about BD pics and started looking around. I decided to go local, with Jen because I didn't want to pay extra for photog. travel fees/hotel.

 

Jen was a pleasure to work with. She made me feel comfortable and at ease when I was super nervous and anxious. I even got a chance to look at the unedited pictures after the shoot and make my selections. They are beautiful and I can't wait to get them. I'm still undecided about whether I should have her make my album or do one on my own. I won't get the pics for at least a few weeks.

 

I would suggest getting your makeup done professionally. She can provide a makeup artist for you for an extra fee. Also, start getting together your outfits. Make sure they're different styles and colors. She suggests that you have at least one black one.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
