Has any one worked with Florart or Iris Design Puerto vallarta?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a florist and have contacted Iris Design and also FlorArt. I won't be able to go to P.V. to select my flowers and have to do everything via internet. I was wondering if someone has work with either one of this companies and can give me feedback. So far I gotten fast answers by email but I am wondering how's their quality of their work? Any recommendations will really help out. Thank You!

I was in the process of working with Maripepa the owner of Florart. I even met with her in PV. We had been emailing back and forth to finalize ideas on flowers and colors (she had informed me that I couldn't get anything that I wanted in Mexico without spending $$$) so I had to change everything up. I sent her my last set of ideas and never heard from her again. I even emailed her to see if she'd gootten my last email and received no response. All of the independant vendors that I've come across in Mexico seem to be very flakey. I also met with Iris and I've been waiting for a month to get a price quote on what I'm looking for and my wedding is in March. Maybe you'll have beter luck.

Wendy,

I'm curious how Francisco's pricing was. What type of flowers did you use and what kind of pieces?

Hi,

We had at the cathedral round balls carnations, the center pieces at our reception had a combination of roses, with carnation, orchids with branches and pearls dropping and feathers. We had a branch tree as a wish tree. I will post pictures very soon the photographer will be sending me a few pictures of the details. Francisco does a great job and he has very good taste. Also included my flower bouquet and my bridesmaid bouquet. I also added a gazebo for civil reception. For the flowers I spend under 1,500 dlls.

Hello, I am using Florart for my wedding next week. Maripepa and I have been emailing back and forth for the past couple months, and I haven't had any problems with no answers. As I have not been able to go to PV, we have been emailing back and forth. She has always been very very prompt at getting back to me as soon as she can. When choosing my flowers, I told her the ones that I like (Stargazer Lillie's and white roses), and she was able to send me various pictures to choose from. She has even made it possible to order beta fish for my center pieces, which has been one of my plans for center pieces for years. I was able to make several changes throughout as my needs have changed, whether its adding a bouquet or decreasing the amount of center pieces we need, and that hasn't been a problem. She would just adjust the budget and send me the new one. I was even able to add and change a couple things just yesterday, with my wedding being the 20th. She has been nothing but helpful and prompt with me. I will let you know how things are after my big day!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
