@Mrs J I'm really sorry bout what you went through with that woman and I want to apologize for that. Im am Jamaican and I live there also. I understand because I have to face the same thing everyday.I do agree that the one big problem we have is customer service. Sometimes i have to really wonder. Please know that not Jamaicans are the same. Again I want to apologize for that.

I don't think you should apologize for the comments MrsJ made. Just because one person is one way doesn't mean everyone is. Sorry I'm on the next thread page and can't see the name who posted this, but to the other bride, may I ask what type of wedding package you were quoting on with regards to the $3 bottles of water. Just curious!...would be good to know.

Secondly on a happier note, I did book my wedding with Tropical Wedding Jamaica!!! Yay!!!

I am really happy with the fast response to any questions I threw Almarie's way. Plus, I've seen soooooo many positive reviews of Tropical Weddings Jamaica, I know I made the right decision.

Hi everyone, I was married with TWJ and everything was a bit expensive but I still think it was less than my resort was charging for a group of 50 people. What I did to save money was buy the lower package and then customize for things I wanted e.g. champagne, rose petals, etc. It worked out well. You can also negotiate a bit which helped.

I was also quoted $3/bottle so I told guests to bring there own. We provided champagne $25/bottle (for 5 people) which everyone enjoyed.

Let me know if you have questions, I though they were fab! I was really happy

Princess J, I notice that your musician has an amp.  Was there a power supply? If so, did you pay extra for it?

I have booked the Simply Supurb package. I asked about water for my flower girl and pregnant bridesmaid because they cannot drink champagne... and because it will probably be really hot. I was thinking it would be nice to have water on hand while we are taking pictures etc.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
